Hey everyone! Today I share with you exactly what I have to do as a Technical Paraplanner. I work for a Financial Planning firm and this is my corporate job and the career I chose. I am qualified as a financial adviser but work as a Paraplanner to assist the Financial Adviser with all things technical research, to produce suitability reports and more. I share with you today a real day in the life of a paraplanner, to show you some of the behind the scenes and talk about factors we have to consider when advising clients. I really hope you find this helpful! This video is a representation of what a day can look like but of course every single day is different. Wow!!! If this was my job I would be so happy. I'm job is so crazy right now that I start at 8 -8.30am finish around 7pm and its constantly go go go. I'm a European Analyst Manager and watching this makes me want to change to what you do. Great vid xx

I work for a investment platform in financial services so I know how busy TYE gets! Completely relate to that workflow system too as I have to do a similar thing. Loved this video and I actually learnt quite a bit too which will help me understand the level of work paraplanners do! 😊

@@hazelwoodx I think you're definitely further along in Paraplanning than I am. I was a trainee for a couple years then moved into Paraplanning. I'm almost half way through the diploma. I'm a few years older than you and you're absolutely smashing it! ❤️

I’m a paraplanner too. It’s always so interesting to hear how others structure their reports. Your report looks very modern, can I ask if you work for an IFA or a restricted firm?
We also used CURO at one point, I hated it as it’s so user unfriendly.

This is brilliant as I am looking to shift from my current career to become a mortgage advisor because it’s something I’ve always wanted to.Any advice?
I would look to do the relevant exams to become qualified as this will be needed to do the job then you could look at junior roles x

@@amanaa5634 you need to be qualified as a financial adviser to do the job I do, I did the CII diploma in financial planning level 4. If not you could start at a financial administrator level and work way up but being qualified is essential to be a paraplanner xxx
