Really nostalgic to see you drive through by bm area, Kota Permai, sg rambai and hsbm area. I used to ride around these area 18 years ago. I know the road condition around that area, the car suspension seems to perform well.
Yes the car suspension is solid.
civic's suspension is what i would call a sophisticated one. handles well yet at the same time is compliant over potholes and broken roads

Unfortunately I can't get the 1.8 variant from the dealer. Maybe one day I can get from one of the owner then I will do one
The main weak point of this car would be the CVT.
A 6-speed conventional torque converter or a wet 7-speed DCT would hv been perfect👍🏾
For daily driving CVT could be fine. Once you steps on the pedal then you will wish this car has a dual clutch or at least a torque converter transimission =)
Steering tip.
Let the car roll before you turn the wheel. Turning the wheel while stationery places excessive stress on the power steer unit.
Secondly.
Wouldve been good to see how responsive the paddle shifters are.

I wish to see how the honda sensing works like in the traffic, whether it guides the steering or totally control it. What speed it can be functioning etc...
Yes I will try that as well if I get the chance to do another video on Honda car model with Honda sensing. It has adaptive cruise control which means it can accelerate, decerelate, brakes and keep the distant in between cars. Lane keep assists will basically steer the car when the car is swaying off the lane. I would say partially control the car for you but not fully control as it will still need your input by holding or grab the steering during the engagement of the Honda sensing.
How would you rate the driving experience of Honda Civic vs Toyota Corolla 2020? On a scale of 1-10
Both are good cars. But I like the Civic more for the agility of the car as well as the power. So I will put Civic 8 Corolla 7.

Obviously you are choosing a new or used car if you going to choose the FE or FC. If you have the money and you are more toward handling the FE is definitely is a better buy. As it excel in most of the departments compare to the FC. But if you just wanted a more younger looking(personal preference) and cheaper car to buy then the FC is the car for you.

Mazada 3 or Honda civic? Which ride was smoother in your opinion?
If you drive sedately then the civic is a smoother ride. Probably is due to the CVT. If you drive hard I would say Mazda convention torque converter transmission perform better.
i've test driven both cars. the civic definitely rides smoother than mazda 3. mazda 3 rides quite firm over potholes but not uncomfortable. coming from kia forte sx ( which has stiff ride due to sport suspension), i would say mazda 3 has about the same firmness over potholes. this does result in greater agility when tackling winding roads which i believe what the mazda 3 was made for

I will put Mazda is a bit better in terms of handling and suspension. But power wise this is definitely ahead of the 3.

civic is more comfortable over bumps but i feel that mazda 3 has slightly sharper handling. i've test driven both cars btw

Hows the NVH compared to 2020 Mazda 3?
To me the wind and road noise are pretty similar if not the Mazda 3 is a bit better. But the engine and transmission note civic is noisier. Perhaps is due to the CVT transmission sound in particular.

Unfortunately most of the car dealers don't have the .1.8 variant as test drive car. I am able to come across one I will do the test drive video.

How was the driving position, was it hard to judge the left side ?
Driving position is good. It is a bit on the lower side. If you like sporting driving it is perfect for you but not so on ingress and egress as the car seats are low. I have no problem judging the left side tho.
@@AnthonyLoh thanks for the reply, I prefer seeing over the bonnet, I'm 5"10, if you raise the seating position the max level would you get that view of seeing over the bonnet, hope I'm making sense lol
I never tested that but there are 2 "humps" on the right and left of the bonnet which I can see them during my test drive.
Ah cool so I guess that gives a indication of the edge of the bonnet

How does the Honda Lane watch work?from this video i noticed that your infotainment screen changes only when u are turning/change lane to the left..but every right turn/change lane to the right it doesn't change..it works only on left side??
Yes the camera only available on the left side mirror and work only when u put left signal light while driving. Explaination I found from Google:The reasons they have only one camera are cost and that a camera on the driver's side isn't particularly useful. On the driver's side there is not really an area that isn't covered by your peripheral vision or mirror, you don't really have to take your eyes off the road to to be aware of a vehicle in that lane.
