Seriously, I get that this is an "action-ish" film for kids, but, GEEZ LOUISE, can Illumination BE any more careless about mindless violence? They probably figured, "You know, MOST kids--forget the innocent minority--these days play Call of Duty, so I don't think they'd mind seeing a good few dozen people getting killed. And the parents? Nah. They'll give us their money soon enough for cheap crap."

Take a look at the PG-13 Transformers movies--any of them. There's plenty of graphic genocide, including, but not limited to, vehicles crashing and exploding, people getting vaporized, decepticons savagely taking away both human and alien life, etc. Michael Bay would probably have more of a field day directing an R-rated film, though...
