If only the Warriors games could actually have three-sided battles. It really makes no sense that Yuan Shao essentially makes a truce with Cao Cao in order to take down what he believes are traitors in his ranks.
A lot of the older games did including the older dynasty warriors and Samurai warriors 1 and 2. The armies were marked yellow on the map, rather than red and could either be minor interlopers or a fully fledged army, depending on the scenario.
If you let Zhang Fei approach Zhang Liao, they will exchange special dialogue with each other regarding Guan Yu. Zhang Fei: “You! Give me back my brother now!” Zhang Liao: “Lord Guan Yu is being treated well by my lord. He will return to you no more.” Additionally, if you don’t approach Zhen Ji and she catches up to you, she changes her dialogue to “You thought you could escape? You naughty little boy” which is directed to Zhao Yun, since he mentions that he must concentrate on escaping earlier (12:28). Otherwise you get the dialogue at 14:31, if you approach her. Also I think this is the only time Zhen Ji has tried to flirt with Zhao Yun in any iteration of Dynasty Warriors.
I remember being flabbergasted when Yuan Shao suddenly goes after Liu Bei in this version of the stage. Like...this is almost cartoonish. Shouldn't you focus a bit more on Cao Cao, Yuan?

Wei, Lu Bu, Yuan Shao, Yellow Turban(They're actually fun to play as), Shu, Wu, Jin, Dong Zhuo, Nanman, I don't count Han Forces as their own because Han is just everyone that isn't the Yellow Turbans and Yuan Shu doesn't have any playable officers.

Damn Shu Forces so far so good. Liu Bei(decent), Zhang Fei(op), Guan Yu(op) and Zhao Yun(op) I'm a big fan of Shu feel so good
