Good question! "Haben" is an auxiliary verb in your example, because it's used to form the past tense. It only uses accusative case when it's a full verb, i.e. when the meaning is "I have /something/" -> I have a dog, I have a car etc. And by the way, it's "Ich habe *der* Frau geantwortet.

Therefore, please advise the position of dative in a combination of one sentence SVO (is dative place before akkusative or after ?).
