My sister lives in SLC so I love going there, it can be a really fun layover if you have enough time to go hiking or spend time outdoors! I love how you and your roommie did a facemask and got to fly together! I've only gotten to fly with friends a few times.

Just took a long trip from Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina and back with several stops. Every time I boarded a plane I wondered if I'd get lucky and have you as my flight attendant!

I have to agree with whoever told you to go to Park City!! It’s one of my favorite places ive ever visited. It’s a cute little town- ish, the food was great, everyone was so sweet and the scenery was beautiful. Definitely check it out if you can!

SLC is somewhat of a college town. The school year is over. University of Utah (UofU) is east of downtown and a great place to see lots of people during the school year. You need to eat at the Cheesecake Factory and the Spaghetti Factory. They are very delicious!

You’re in my neck of the woods! You got a hotel in the wrong area lol but that hotel was beautiful inside! You probably went shopping around the gateway which is kinda abandoned since city creek opened up lol. You have to go deeper into the city to see more stuff but I def agree with park city! You will love it there! Also sugarhouse is where all the yuppies hang out! Good times there!

Hello from Salt Lake City...1/2 south of where you were staying. I haven't ever thought about outdoor seating here...maybe 'cause the weather can change so much in 1 day...snow, rain, sunny...so I guess I'm just used to it. Park City is great! (Property theft? Huh? Lol.) Oktoberfest at Snowbird is my favorite outdoor activity in Salt Lake. I hope you come see us again =0). Thank you for sharing! P.S. the end with the snapchat filter (?) made me laugh sooo hard!
Im from Utah. Ive lived here my whole life and i like to see what different people think about it. The building in front of your hotel was the Vivint Smart home arena where the Utah Jazz NBA team plays. Park city is also amazing. You have to go snow boarding or skiing there or your missing out. Im glad you liked Utah and i hope you come again

When you are getting gas, do not get back in your car and sit down while the gas is pumping. The process of getting out of your car to finish pumping can generate static electricity. That may not mix well with gasoline fumes if you know what I mean. Better safe than sorry.
Go to park city! Park city has a bunch of shops but that’s basically it Or try the salt lake flats that’s so cool
I’m from slc! There is not a lot of people out on Sunday if you were there Sunday. Also there is not a ton to do downtown other then shop as this is kinda a sober city! (I know super lame for visitors) park city is definitely more of a destination and there is MUCH more to do

You’re in the land of Mormons, there is not a lot of single men because they are all married off in their early 20s. Also, the Mormons don’t drink caffeine or alcohol so there are a lot of places that don’t serve alcohol.

americanfairy yeah I knew that but I thought over time enough people would have immigrated there that it wouldn’t be so religious or at least Mormoncentric. It makes it sound like it’s not a very diverse state
