I'm a 45 year old PA native and enjoyed a short career in outdoor television over a decade ago. (I worked for a company owned by Dave Watson out of Nashville, way back then, doing shows such as "Bushnell's Secrets of the Hunt", "Bushnell Outdoors", "Mathews TV" and a few others for networks such as "Outdoor Channel", "Sportsman's Channel" and "Wild TV" out of Canada.)
I must say that I can remember absolutely wearing out the "H.S. Strut" turkey calling instruction VHS cassette from "Hunter's Specialties", can it actually be almost 30 years ago now, which featured Matt Morrett, Walter Parrott, and Tom Stuckey. Talk about before we had the internet to "cheat" from! Anyway, man, I swear it was guys like that who got be started with their own love for the outdoors. It was infectious. (I was a certified Bowhunter Ed. instructor in PA for a short time as well, before health issues took me out.) While I left nowhere near the legacy of the gentlemen I mentioned above, I consider it an honor to have followed in their footsteps for a brief time. Thanks from someone you've never met, Mr. Morrett. I pray you're doing well! (Also, thanks PAGC for hosting this. It brought back amazing memories.)

You should also explain to her and the viewers that don't know, to not use rough sand paper on a slate call..only soft pad and gently sand one direction..Then while calling, use the striker against the sanded surface..
Oh and never use the a combination of clucks and purrs together..that will hang up gobblers all day long.
