It's a shame his wrestling career didn't work out. It may have limited him in the ring but I thought a one legged wrestler was cool and really inspirational
Agreed. To be honest there are guys who wrestled in wcw consistentlyi barely remember but i always remembered zach
I still think not having him win the royal rumble due to technicality was a massive missed opportunity by them. They could've used the whole "both feet must touch the floor" rule to the extreme by having him impossible to eliminate, make it seem as though someone like batista/cena won the rumble, only for them to go over the top rope in a random SD/raw match and him come out/say "your winner of the 2004 royal rumble!". They could've made him a massive heel, instead chose to bury him next to mcmahon/hogan.

Zach Gowen is still just as good as Seth Rollins in my book despite he didnt get to do wat seth did 3 years ago.

No wrestling fan can forget that match and those all segments involving Zack...it was brutal and we were still children and unaware of all kayfabe shit...Zack gowen will forever be remembered as a good wrestler.

I met Zach at a show a few years back. Super nice guy and one hell of a Wrestler! A true hero!
Man. Back in the day wrestling was crazy. I was born in 2002 and I know a whole lot happened during that time. Like John Cena Debut on June 23rd of 2002 and Triple H turning heel on Shawn in 2002 of January I believe. Crazy stuff from back then.
2002 wasn’t a bad year for wrestling at all.. I was born in the 80s the 90s was sick
@@reeseangle9621 I was just thinking the other day on what years were my favorite as a wrestling fan. 97 always stuck out to me, I loved all the factions at that time. And 2002 was my second favorite, so much talent in wwe at that time.

That match was not fake
I actually thought he was a good WWE wrestler. Though he was limited, if I remember correctly he moved really well in the ring and had some high fly moves. It made me mad his last match was against a losing effort against Vince lol
For being such a young kid in that situation at least he got it. He understood how important that spot was. Granted it was Brock Lesnar and he was gonna be fine wether Zach bled or not.

I'm a big fan of hardcore wrestling but to me the chairs shots like rock gave mick in that I quit natch and the ones that were done in the edge vs Christian latter match they had after disbanding...were gross idk one chair shot to the head is one thing but why so many in one match its over kill. Idk just my 2cents. I do like ecw the blood is one thing I can deal with but the head shots like Tanaka took from awesome were sick as well.
