Oh hell yeah, i have the razer kishi v2, essentially the same thing, absolutely wonderful piece of tech that enables such a specific and comfortable niche, its great for when you're bored anywhere but your desk, late at night, bathroom, etc I use it for minecraft, siege mobile and retro emulators lol
So can someone explain to me the difference between the gen 1 and gen 2 I got the gen 2 or so it said but I didn’t get any inserts in the box with it and they say you can remove them but when I try mine won’t come out and when I tried it looked like mine was glued in on the bottom 🤔
except sound not working on my iPhone 15. it thinks headphones are connected and yes I've made sure its not on silent and volume all the way up. other than that it works great and feels great.
You should explain to people that you can't get The playstation remote play app on this device natively. But in your video You can clearly see the remote play app Which does not appear in xbox backbone second gen usb c version with android phone. Bit misleading.
@godzillamegatron3590 no not exactly, yes you can launch your playstation remote play app from your normal phone app, but then you won't be able to use the backbone gamepad, (nothing responds) it will only be touchscreen controls as if you just launch the playstation remote play app on your phone. I have s23 ultra android phone. I have since found a paid app workaround for this issue.
@godzillamegatron3590 if you have a playstation and an android phone I suggest you get the playstation backbone version as it will work natively with the playstation app, and you can use with xbox app also.
Looks like Gundam Bael blurred out in the background there lol and I have to agree with you on the backbone only mobile controller I prefer is the gamesir G8
Is the app menu and use on multiple devices locked to the backbone subscription if so how come u are yet another UA-camr not specifying this as also no where on backbone adds and webpage does it tell u this info. And How is steam deck any different when ur reliant on different internet connections when ur out with steam deck ur still not using ur home WiFi
Hello, what you see in the video is the free version of the backbone app. I believe the subscription is not necessary and everything you see me using in the video is without it. As for comparison to the steam deck, in the video I say using a backbone has the potential for better graphics and performance. Using a backbone you can achieve higher frame rates, resolution, and graphics depending on your setup. The main differences are you don't need an internet connection for the steam deck but the backbone is also significantly cheaper and makes use of devices you already own. Also you have access to other cloud gaming services besides steam link when using a backbone such as Xbox game pass.
omg you can charge your phone while using it? bliss
Yes there's a port on the bottom right side for charging and a headphone jack on the left 👍

Isn't those apps are downloaded into your phone. And the backbone is just to turn your phone into a controller?

You can search the list of supported games on Backbone's website. Hope you find what you're looking for!
