Thank you. I was really getting frustrated with this camera. I could not for the life of me connect it to my phone. I was not pausing it first, and would have to pull the battery to shut it off. I think I get it now! Nick
Had to send one back after trying the update so I recommend not doing update. Was alil confusing to connect to WiFi but once I figured it out it’s simple now great lil starter camera. Works great with the film thru scope 👍 talk a for sharing
I can’t get mine to connect to my phone I did the steps and it just shuts off when I hold it for 3 seconds it doesn’t flash blue and green any suggestions?
Hi I have the tactacam 5.0 ultra HD cam and it won't let me download that app you downloaded the tactacam connect app but the prob is the cam moves like it's on slow motion how do I get it sped up like yours thanks for your time
How well does the camera pick up audio from further distance? Like 50-75yds or further? Will it pick up dogs barking and such very well from those distances?
I'm honestly not sure, I only field tested it a few times and sent it back. I was using it as a scope camera and the set up is more of a pain than what's it's worth. As a camera mounted it's pretty decent, audio is good up close. I'd say distance wise it'd pick it up if loud enough.

I'm looking for a new camera for when out rabbit hunting with our beagles and was thinking about a tactacam. Action cameras have internal microphones which are horrible at picking up audio from further away, then putting the camera inside a case for protection makes it even worse. I was hoping something like this with the mic on the body would help, especially since I wouldn't need a case to protect it.
Using it like a scope camera. (Recording through the scope) with the FTS adapter kit I believe it's called, don't remember now. I have a video on it explaining. BUT anyway I would get a bad glare off the sun and it'd ruin the video. It took forever to setup and get the camera angle straight with crosshairs of the scope. I had issues with thinking it was turn off but it wasn't ans when I go to use it it'd be dead. The pairing system can be a pain till you get use to it. But just mounting it off to the side of your barrel, on top off your scope or just using it as a normal camera in general it's pretty decent and the 3x I believe it has is great. I just didn't like using it as a scope camera and maybe they have made it better. I have some of their other products and love them

I can't find the SIM cards that goes in it so can I record live without the SIM card if I don't intend to save the recording. Will it record live without the SIMS card
Will the cam work without the SIMS card I can't find my SIM cards but I was hoping I could use it at least live and watch it on my phone is that possible
Tactacam doesn't work with my android, manufacturer and seller don't answer questions. My very bad choice. I do not recommend buying. I'm not surprised that the manufacturer Tactacam has disabled comments under videos

It's honestly a pain, so much of a pain I sent mine back because I wasn't thrilled with it at all

You mean the SD/memory card? I'm not sure on that but I would think so, you just wouldn't be able to record or save

Maybe through the app you can use to connect too but im not sure. I sent the product back because it was junk for what I wanted it for
