Hello there. I looked at this last year and thought it was cool. For some reason it came back in my mind to look at it yesterday and I built it today. Thanks for the framework. It helped me a whole lot.
For a more affordable build, there's always the option of finding an actual upright from local online marketplace (many are FREE) and just gutting it. Stumbled on your video from a Pinterest link in a google search and was surprised when I saw the Antioch shirt, haha! I go to Antioch Waco and enjoyed the build vid! Thanks!
Wow, very cool! I had actually talked with Owen back before this build about what he did. Mine had to be taller than a traditional piano box because our players stand rather sit. Thanks for watching!
6:21 how did you screw or nail in the 2x4’s vertically in between on the backside? I see the top side nails but how are the bottom of these vertical 2x4’s nailed/screwed in? I couldn’t see that part. Thanks! Cool build!
Although I appreciate the skill and the cosmetic appearance of this project, I feel as a touring musician a piano shell is very useful creating the illusion of a real piano. However I feel that it needs to be portable and able to be folded and light to fit in a car or small van.
Thanks for the video, I'm going to try and do this for my keyboards. Quick question, I'm not very experienced at woodworking, how did you mount the two spindles?
Looks fantastic pal, great work and thanks for sharing 👍

Would you please give the dimensions and also the height from ground upto the first piano place hook
Great job! Way more handsome than an electronic keyboard. I'd love to do something similar one day.

WAUUUU MEN I TRAING TO FIND SOME VIDEO LIKE THIS THAKS VERY MUCH!!!! I´M FROM ARGENTINA AND HERE I CANT FIND NOTHING!!! BLESS YOU
What was depth and height of the shell?
Hi, just wondering what heights you used for the shelfs? Do the heights and design you used work well for playing two keyboards at the same time?

I'm thinking the same...u come accross anything?
Add some LED lights and done!

Sry for the late reply. I just used wood glue and then toe nailed in a couple of trim nails with the gun.
Do you guys still use this?
and now the B3, please.
oh that would be cool!
I can't say I understand what the point is of going to all that trouble, if it neither disguises the keyboard nor improves its sound.
It disguises it... that's the point. The people who attend my church do not stand on the stage behind the keyboard. Make sense?
It's just cosmetic and for looks who cares.
Your opinion is irrelevant.
