In this video, I’ll show you how I’ve use NFC Tags to create a digital business card. How I used NFC Tags as a part of my home automation and how I’ve used the shortcuts app on the iPhone to automate my daily task! NFC tags are super cheap and easy to program!

This was the coolest video on UA-cam I’ve seen in a while. What lightbulbs are in your home?
I will add that you don’t need an NFC to use the shortcuts app for automations as I have a laundry timer button on my phone that is programmed to do the same thing without the tag. I also have one to log my weight, fitness etc without opening the health app which is super convenient.
I’m using Phillips Hue throughout my apartment.
This is pretty cool. This would make sharing my phone number so easy to new employees

could you make a video about how to stabilize the camera?
Can you control who can trigger the nfc tag? For ex, if we have a tag on door with smart lock, can we make sure only it can be triggered from particular phone(s).
Depending on what app you are using to program it! If you use shortcuts it will only work on the device it was programmed from if you use a different app you’ll need to lock the tag so no one can write over it or use it

Hi Sabrina, Nice video, but you are doing what every ones does, by not tell us what automatons will work with NFC and IOS phones. I have loads of automation controls in Smart Life. Smart Life is not being recognized by NFC. My Smart Life controls curtains opening/closing, as well as low voltage LED lamps on/off, (of which I was hoping to program). Like I said, I love your video, but maybe it needs to say what Home automatons will/will not work. NFC on my phone see's my Philip's Hue app, but I stopped using Hue lights some time ago, plus they (Hue) don't open curtains. Any help with be very much appreciated. Thank you again for a great video.

Sorry , but when a client is opening my website and all the tools connected to my website with my NFC card, can he download or save all that information in her smartphone as an app so she can use it later any time she needs?
Because when i bought a card before for 80€ , i could do it , and that is really cool and important.
Otherwise the client will lose all the information several minutes after scanning my nfc card.

The thing is that it's not as easy. Google doesnt have an in-house way of doing it without using apps like tasker.
