An absolutely great trumpet player and musician. Everything I’ve heard from Edvard is outstanding. You may hear different interpretations but I can’t imagine anything better.
Very well done. Impressive to see the alternate fingerings being used in fast passages as well. Also nice to play the octave jumps @3:09 in different styles. A real master of the trumpet!

There is no doubt that the two trumpeters you mentioned are exceptional artists. When you get a chance, please listen to Sergei Nakariakov. You will certainly add him to your list of fantastic trumpeters.
@@warrensicherman4391 Oh yes... How can i forget Sergeï Nakariakov ? He did a fabulous concert at Issy les Moulineaux City ! I did my trumpet studies there... Sergeï is a wonderful trumpet player !

Je crois qu'il y a d'ailleurs plein d'autres excellents trompettistes, ce qu'en France on appelle des pointures; qui jouent aussi bien que Maurice André dans le registre classique... Ole Edvard Antonsen en fait partie... Il y a encore beaucoup d'autres trompettistes que j'aime beaucoup écouter aussi tant dans le registre classique que dans d'autres genres musicaux (Arturo Sandoval, par exemple)... Pour ma part, j'ai fait le conservatoire de musique et j'ai joué de la trompette à l'Orchestre de la Musique Principale des Troupes de Marine en France... J'ai connu et joué parfois avec des élèves de Maurice André... il y a longtemps. Faites vous de la trompette ou d'un autre instrument de musique vous aussi ?
