I live in Antioch and they are so proud of him. He really is a nice guy. He just did a concert in the local Walmart parking lot, the ticket price was an unwrapped toy for kids. He’s literally at the top. He could just have donated money but he invited everyone out and made it a community event. ( They as in original residents, I’m a transplant).

Apparently you missed Charlamagne's segment about America's obsession with celebrity. Just because a musician says something you like does not mean that they should now be trying to figure out healthcare, tax policy and national defense. Also, a congressman is not even that influential of a position. He has more power doing what he knows.
He handles himself so wonderfully. Jelly roll is amazing as a person first.
I love watching Jelly Roll's continued success and growth. In the music industry there are few that deserve it more.

I made the mistake of dismissing this man because I did not think I liked his style of music , still only really love a few of his songs , but I’ve seen him on several interviews over the last few years on late night shows , and then there was day drinking with Seth and I found myself completely changing my mind , he has truly earned my respect , I’m overjoyed for his success , he is a great example for young people and really most of us tbh . 🙏💜

I always looked over Jelly, but he did a song with an artist from my hometown Sonny Bama called “Let Go”. This is LOOOONG before he blew up. But that verse made me think completely different about his talent & ability.
He is now doing something completely different than that Jelly Roll was doing, but it has as much soul & realness as this music does. Keep it up brother! Love it!!!
