You look really pretty in this video! I got stream pointe here in Canada and it didn't have the soft cushiony inner sole! Also didn't look quite like your model with the soft V/U. I'm curious about this. Also it's been great watching your career evolve. Well done!
I am happy to learn that the elasticated binding is available for custom. I've had Fouettés with no drawstring, regular drawstring, and now the new "elasticated" drawstring, which was stretchy at all, and I don't love any of them. My shoes fit pretty snug and I don't require much, so an elasticated binding seems like a good middle ground. I am going to a Nikolay fitting event and plan to get my custom measurements there. The event's gotten pushed back, so I won't them in time for my summer intensive, but I'm still excited. I love my Ulanova I and I look forward to making them perfect.
I wear the streampointe in hard shank and they work great! i had to strengthen my feet more in the last few months to make them not hurt my left arch no more lol
Question:when I go on pointe, bourree, single foot releves etc I never go straight onto the platform evenly. I always seem to hit the ground on one corner and when my full weight goes down then I am on the whole platform. Both feet this happens on. Theres a microsecond each time where I am sort of fishing around for the whole platform. I videoed myself and I seem to land on the inner big toe side of the platform first. Any exercise tips to correct this? I'm a hobbyist so dont have a teacher to ask. Tapered compressible feet, very narrow. Alternating between freed studio 2 and 2007.
I just bought victory, but the inner lining at the box keeps riding up when I slide my foot in and keeps rubbing my bunion. It’s painful and it leaves a mark on my feet. Does anyone wearing victory have this problem? How do y’all manage it?
I had the same thing, it hurt my feet. It's poorly made. I cut out the insert with scissors. It gave me more space in the box but it doesn't bother me.
I LOVE a short truly short, short vamp! I have very short nearly perfectly even toes- fitters always take verbal note about it. I’m happy with them- I’m talking Capezio “Donatella” typevshort = perfection for me. But like you said the vamp alone does not a perfect pointe shoe make. So: ever since Gaynors turned their production upside down- outsourced to Bosnia Herzegovina: unfortinstely the quality 🌀👎 (these new improved European produced they’re so different & horribly diminished in quality & fit.) - no hate: I’m heartbroken. They were my shoe. Needless to say I’m currently in the market for a new shoe. (Luckily I trained in Freed’s/as well as some other traditional “turn-shoe method” made pointe shoes, for majority of pointe-career. And I do love the versatility of Grishko: though admittedly I need to take advantage of it that service much much more! Thank you for your knowledge, videos, *and oh I adore your eyeshadow + your hair! ) You’re always so aesthetically pleasing, m’love! 💕☺️🙏🩰

Awesome vid!
16:08 where she starts talking about the streampointe
Great to see these, I think I would love to try when I can be fitted. I got on quite well with elite so am interested in victory.

Hi, I can sort out your issue but I would need to do a virtual fitting with you to be able to sort you out :) please email me if you wish to book one
@@StraighttothepointeNet I will think about it,thanks!
I want to try virtual fitting…….
If I’m in a 3007, but my teacher thinks something slightly less tapered what would you suggest?

I’m having the same issue and don’t know how to fix it! It hurts so bad

Hi…look good.
Anybody else break their stream points after just one class? (Hard shank, flexible feet).
