i was right in my comment in ohio fish rescue channel, i said there a normal person wont care giving a 4 inch redtail a 150-300 gal aquarium when they just bought the fish, AND THE UPGRADE WILL HIGHLY LIKELY WONT HAPPEN because by that time theyre already nothing special to the owner, not worth all the stress moving a giant tank.......the silent majority just see fish as decorations not pets....

Have you had any aggression issues with your jardini? Was thinking of getting one to add with my Oscar in a 125 till my bigger tank gets here
I haven't, but that's because theres fish in there that are the same size or bigger. Bigger fish will curb a jardini's aggression in my experience.

Dan should have done his research before buying. To many stupid people buying big fish. These should not be sold in shops etc. The problem is that bad you have youtube channel / sanctuary for these rescues. I'm a fish keeper of 30 years. No excuse buying wrong fish in shops or off people. Reaserch source is in all our hands, quick Google search boom decision
I'm sure he had his phone on him when he went to pick the tank up , how long would it have taken to Google if the previous owner told him the names of the fish .
@@tonymarshall5815 I'm not sure what your point is. If he did Google it and still took them it's worse, As he knows it's too small, plus I'm talking in general terms. This is the problem in this hobby people keeping fish in inadequate Aquariums and a sanctuary has to be set up. The sale of these large fish should be banned or only if you have a licence to keep these.
@@darrenshore5853 my point was that if he realised what he would be taking on when he turned up to buy the tank he could say no thanks.
@@tonymarshall5815 but he failed to do any research if that's the case. I doubt he arrived and suddenly found out fish came with it. Phone is in hand to search name of fish for information and picture of See fish matches name given. Again he took responsibility of these animals, their at fault. The big issue is the initial suppliers to the market of these massive fish. It should not be allowed. The fact a sanctuary and other youtubers have enough content for rescueing these "monster fish" shows how big the problem is.
@@darrenshore5853 I totally agree with you on the monster fish trade, I have been keeping fish since 1975 and it should be easier than it ever has been to find out about the fish your buying.
