Chloe is really such a good person. She plays it calm and unemotional so often, but she feels everything and cares so much. That's why I've always loved her. She really has been through so much, and she deserved hearing that about her dad. I know it will be rough next season, but I really hope she gets some straightforward, honest, no BS happiness at some point.

That small detail that A talked to Chloe's dad really got to me (and most likely Chloe too)
The little bit where Amenadiel tells her that her dad is in heaven and that he's proud of her was so sweet it makes my heart melt. I think this was the scene where Chloe started seeing the good side of the divine being real, and where she started to trust lucifer again fully.

The didn't change quickly. Between that and the next episode more than 5 months pass. you can notice it by the change in Linda's belly as well as Lucifer saying Maze was bounty hunting for months.
Despite Eve's presence in Lucifer's life being unbearably tough on Chloe, I ADMIRE, how rationally she evaluated Eve- both in a professional & personal capacity. First, she ensured eve is not a danger to citizens. Then, accepted that she may be the better choice for Lucifer. Great Cop & a fine person! Commendable! Great character development this season.
So many little things that make this a great scene! Of course there's Chloe glancing up at the end but also the way Amenadiel is looking at Chloe at 1:56, waiting for her to get what he's actually saying. Great acting.

I don’t think Lucifer would appreciate her learning that. You don’t do those kinds of things to be thanked, and if Chloe finds out about them she might feel indebted to him, which would put a strain on their relationship. This is one of those situations where it’s best if the hero’s song goes unsung, y’know?

OK so lowkey this is one of the best scenes in the show. What started off with Chloe just being concerned for Lucifer's saftey (mixed with a little jealousy) turned into a really heartwarming conversation. And in the episode it was seemingly out of nowhere too! So glad Netflix picked this show back up.

I loved the part where Amanadiel told Chloe that her father was so proud of her. She burst into tears and hugged Lucifer when he told her basically the same thing, even though he was speculating.
This and the scene where Amenadiel tells Dan that she's in heaven are the best (most touching) scenes in season 4. My favourites for sure, small scenes but powerful.

Yousof Zaid maybe heaven is like that but it naturally guides people to more to people that are generally connected either by mutual friends or being friends themselves. That way people don’t just wander aimlessly
Just think of how Amenadiel was first introduced to us as a villain - a ruthless warrior of God. And just look at how kind he is to Chloe in this scene and kind to everyone throughout the series. Now THAT is character development.
The only thing that bothered me in this scene was that amenadiel, after saying to lucifer that eve is dangerous for him, didn't tell chloe what he truly thinks of her
Has anyone noticed that everyone who meets eve likes her. Its probably because GOD made her that way. She was made to be adams perfect wife so GOD made her to appeal to anyone she comes in contact with. Her whole personality was formed so that she acts exactly like what she was made from a body part. So she fits perfectly into your life and easily adapts to become a part of you.
Armendiel telling Chloe her dad was proud of her was a powerful moment, because Chloe, hearing it from him, had to believe it was true. Who wouldn't want to know something like that?

Anyone else love the character developments of Lucifer and Amenadial. Maze. A few others. Everyone grew its so nice to see
Just think of how Amenadiel was first introduced to us as a villain - a ruthless warrior of God. And just look at how kind he is to Chloe in this scene and kind to everyone throughout the series.
Now THAT is character development.
This is one of my favourite scenes in this season.

The only thing that bothered me in this scene was that amenadiel, after saying to lucifer that eve is dangerous for him, didn't tell chloe what he truly thinks of her

Has anyone noticed that everyone who meets eve likes her. Its probably because GOD made her that way. She was made to be adams perfect wife so GOD made her to appeal to anyone she comes in contact with. Her whole personality was formed so that she acts exactly like what she was made from a body part. So she fits perfectly into your life and easily adapts to become a part of you.

Armendiel telling Chloe her dad was proud of her was a powerful moment, because Chloe, hearing it from him, had to believe it was true. Who wouldn't want to know something like that?
