I snagged someone elses line a few weeks ago in the intracoastal.....had a 6'6" pole with a pinnacle baitcaster still attached to it. And the reel was still operational!. I call that a score any day. Lmao
I love the seasonal contrast between watching videos of you fish an empty lake on sub-50* days, then seeing boats stacked up at the ramp during summer... and catching fish either way! ;-)
Love your show, Alex...it's inspired me to take fishing back up as a hobby. Had not fished at all since about 2002. Had not caught anything for years before that, as I only fished very occasionally. On my last outing a week ago, I caught my first fish after about 30 years...a crappie and a carp, using spinning gear. Now looking forward to buying a bait-casting combo soon. Can't thank you enough! Keeping it Realistic!
Whenever I’m having a tougher time getting dialed in I always tie these on to either a an ewg hook with a non pegged bullet and Texas rig it or use it as a trailer on a swim jig and they always perform well. love the channel dude!!! KEEP IT REALISTIC
@@RealisticFishing Dude, so happy you replied! I've been watching your videos literally all day every day! Learned a lot so far. Really cool of you to reply Mr Manson lol
I have been fishing my whole life mainly catfish and panfish recently got into bass fishing from watching your videos I got my PB 3lb largemouth on a watermelon pearl swim dinger also landed a 5lb channel cat on a drop shot gulp minnow thank you alex for your show its awesome keep it up
Took a guy that just retired fishing today. Really put him on some bass. 10 of them and 8 of them covered the range from 2 pounds to over 5 pounds. He was ecstatic.
Nice fish dude. 👍 I finally caught some nice trout at Montauk. Figured out I could use a piece of worm with a split shot. It works! I caught two tens, a twelve, and a fifteen. All rainbows. Caught my limit in under 2 hours plus a few bluegill and some crawfish.
I tried these out a few days ago myself. But no luck though. The sponge like quality was weird when i opened it. Glad they got you a few largies though. Awesome vid as always brother 🎣🔪
I picked up some finesse worms from Max Scent and have yet to give those a try on a shaky head hook. The people at the place where I got it were saying it was a hot bait for this time of year.
One tip I learned this year that has helped me catch noticeably more fish, is to cast close to the bank from a distance. By not approaching the shoreline so quickly, I've caught a lot of nice bass that like to hang out by the reeds and grasslines near the shores of the places I fish! Today I clapped about 8 bass and all were picked off from the bank within a 15 foot radius from the shoreline. I try to stay about 4 or 5 yards away from the shore when I cast to reduce spooking any fish. Not sure if you've heard of this tip before, but if you haven't it's worth giving it a try!
You know how ned rigs AREN'T WEEDLESS? My friend just showed me today that using an arkie shakey head and a z man trd alaztech ned rig plastic makes the ned rig weedless! It has to be the z man trd though so it "floats" I slayed the fish today on that rig and just thought I'd share the wealth with you. Keepin it realistic💯
I hate catching old tackle, it's never anything good and I usually have to re-tie anyways. I love the line recycling bin plug. Nice catches about an HR and a half is usually all I get between work & dark & 2 decent is well worth it! Good video buddy, tight lines! Check out Thermacell mesquito repeller they work no bullshit.
(No, I don't really mean this!) You should do a "found stuff" fishing challenge. You go with an empty reel on a rod, and spool it with the line you gather. As much as people like to leave behind, I'm sure that wouldn't be too difficult! Actually, I visited a new spot after I last moved, and found enough braid to probably about half-fill a baitcaster. I think someone went out trying to learn how to cast, and was really mad at their backlash.
No worries. You'll become very skilled at removing those nests....keep at it. Dont forgetbto adjust your reel braking systems!!! Itll click with ya faster then ya think!! There's a tape trick I used. There are volumes on you tube about baircasters. Even how to take out backlashes. Good Luck! Let us know how your doing!
Did you catch exactly 45% more fish? Haha. I have a pack of these, haven’t tried em out yet. They seem like they may be more fragile than regular power bait, kinda like what you said, in between gulp and power bait. Was that your impression fishing with it?
i see a patern it seem like your alway catching on something greenish in color i think its a hint i hear and copy that my master the fish is strong with you keep it realistic buddy
For everyone who is wondering about the giveaway... stay tuned. The winners will be picked in a future episode. 👍

Keep up the great work,Alex!

New job pays great but really cuts into my fishing time. This channel has been a real moral boost.
Thanks for watching Lester
Good to see someone catching something off them I've had them for about a year and no 🎲 lol...
yikes!

Seems like a nice bait! Thanks for keeping it realistic! Tight Lines!
I always keep it realistic 😎
Very interesting looking bait bro I can't wait to try them out myself! Nice bass you caught man..as always loving that you keep it realistic!
Can't wait till you fish the creme worms that have the two frog looking legs on them. I picked some up but haven't been out with them yet myself.
They are around here somewhere... 🤔
Guy cast right next to me hahaha come on bro lol gotta love people !! Great video man !
If you listen carefully, you can here it plop in the water 😅
PowerBait Max Scent is in my top five favorite lures. Their scent is king. Good job fishing. Evenings are so nice.
Great video Alex!!! Nice bass!! Have to try that bait when I can get out there again. Have a nice night!!
Look for a sale, I dont know if its $7 retail good. 😉
Definitely will. Thank you
Just another great video again. I never heard about line recycling station before. I wish we could have the same thing next to the local pond.
Nice!! Never tried those! Craw type baits usually do pretty well!
At $7 retail, its a tough sell...
Nice. Haven't tried these inparticular, but love Gulp as well as craw style baits. Hopefully I can find some cheap 👍🎣
I dont think I would pay $7 😉
Awesome man, same color I have been having good luck on. They seem to love them, and they don't dry out like the Gulp!.
Kinda spongy, and I lost the claws to small fish.
@@RealisticFishing yea, they aren't just crazy durable, but the bass seem to really like them. That is a pretty good price to pick them up at.
Great video Alex nice bass keep the great videos coming
Thanks cFi 👍
What size weight for the Texas rig ?
3/16th
Thanks
Gonna try this one
Look for a sale 😉
Thanks for another good watch!
Great video love the uploads I personally like the power bait chigger craws but I think I may have to give these baits a try.
I've heard that's Max Scent is great...I'll have to try some. Nice catches!
Always fun to try out something new!
Great video brother.. nice catches.. those are good lookin creature baits.. keep those videos coming..
Always a good day when you post a fishing video ❗️
A good day for me as well 👍
I tried these out a few days ago myself. But no luck though. The sponge like quality was weird when i opened it. Glad they got you a few largies though. Awesome vid as always brother 🎣🔪
Kinda spongy
Never tried those baits before, maybe I’ll give them a shot next time I can pick up some of them. Nice video Alex 👊🏻
Look for a sale because $7 is a little pricey
Might have to pick me up some of those! I sent you a package should be getting it soon! As always great job and awesome video.
I will check the mail soon 👍
I luv your videos Alex keep up the good old back to basic fishing
love the Creature Hawg! found some for 1.77 on clearance last year. Wish I would have bought more
Enjoyed the vid'. When are we going to see a serious trip in your "new" boat?
Define "serious"
@@RealisticFishing
Well, we had the maiden voyage, the shakedown cruise. Let's get some fishin' done!
I picked up some finesse worms from Max Scent and have yet to give those a try on a shaky head hook. The people at the place where I got it were saying it was a hot bait for this time of year.
I wonder why they think that?
Big fan of sented lures , never try those but need to try a pack
I like scented stuff, even if its all in my head 👍
Enjoyed!! Keep it realistic!!

I have found a couple of nice lures, but its usually junk 👍
Another helpful video, thanks for sharing 😁
Just subscribed I like how you fish with inexspesive baits and are hella real.
Always Realistic
Nice fish -- what size weight hook do you typically use with your Texas rig setups?
3 or 4/0 EWG
Thanks @@RealisticFishing -- I meant size weight and hook. Do you use a 1/4 oz?
woke up first thing i saw was this video, great thing to wake up to
rise and shine!
That's some good times.
Catching fish is always a good time 👍
I have never tried a creature bait, just thrown a worm or craw. Do they have better action like a sideways bait fish or something?
No, they are more like a craw.
Caught my first 2 bass of the season the other night on these! Way better than the GOOOOOOOOOGAN baits
Atleast you didnt skunk out Alex . nice job with them creature baits 👍 .
When is the soft plastic baits giveaway going to be announce
When I feel like it. 😉
Man, if I had a dollar for every yard of line I pulled out of the water I would be billionaire many times over. Nice video.
Could you do a demonstration on Carolina rig fishing. I know how to rig it, just not too good on casting and setting the hook. Keep it real
I dont use it much myself, except for catfishing.
I'm keeping it realistic. I just subscribed
Thanks Mr.
Welcome to a dope channel!
now thats realistic
Always 😎
Love the videos, best bank fishermen hands down 💪🎣
I always wonder whats on the end of fishing line I snag.
rocks, sticks, wood and rusty hooks
Would love to get some of my custom color lures out to you to try. Getting your opinion on them would be awesome
new bait has a great scent to it and fill.
That’s lone branch on a Monday there’s a tournament that night that’s why the parking lot is so packed
If thats*
Nice video 👍 keep up the good work
Thanks!
Good fishing bud. Hard to go wrong with a Texas rig rigged creature bait.
Nice bass!
Thanks!
That powerbait maxscent is that something that's relatively new
its a late 2017 item
I'm not good at math, but did you get 45% more fish? The traffic sure explains your preference for mornings! Keep up the great content.
I did not. I caught more on the power worm
You're always twerking the weeds next to the bank😂👍
Good vid. Wondering why you don't use your boat???
because I usually have an hour to fish... it takes that long just to get it ready
@@RealisticFishing Force yourself to take your boat out. Opens up the opportunities. Worth the hassle!
great fishing
Thanks!
Green pumpkin for the win!
I buy the max scent senko/stick baits and they work very well neko or wacky rigged.
I haven't even tried the new max scent yet.
In my experience, fish tend to hold on to these baits longer than traditional soft plastics.
You didn't read that on the package?
Bro where do I get those shades got to have those 😎
Original BluBlockers 😉
That was a sweet 2 pounder.
👍👍
Your vid gets me hyped for my very first baitcaster. Still worried about getting a birds nest.
Dont worry about it. It will happen whether you worry or not 😉
No worries. You'll become very skilled at removing those nests....keep at it. Dont forgetbto adjust your reel braking systems!!! Itll click with ya faster then ya think!! There's a tape trick I used. Thanks guys. Cant wait to get out on the water.
another awesome video
Thanks for watching Kevin
😁👍 Well with the powerbait 45% percent more fish so you got two bass so without the powerbait you would have only caught 1.55 of bass I think?
I am not sure how many bass = .55
I really like when a new lure is successful, I recently had success with the Yum Swimming Dinger.
Awesome video bro.
Great video. If your ever up in Illinois you need to hit me up. We will go out on my Ranger and rip lips.
Hahahaha awesome catches
Totally awesome baits "cheap stuff from Walmart. " hahahaha
On 🔥 🔥 🔥
If they weren't on sale, I dont know if I would have bought them 😅
@@RealisticFishing Hahahaha true wish my Walmart sales cheap shit or on clearance atleast lol hahahahahah
Anyway good vids it does look like they were having a tournament
I hate fishing space invaders after you catch one. I once moved to where they were and started catching a few and they packed up and left.
😅
I love this show.
Good deal on the MaxScent. I think it's the most expensivest soft plastic on the market..
What’s your favourite rod and reel combo
Did you catch exactly 45% more fish? Haha. I have a pack of these, haven’t tried em out yet. They seem like they may be more fragile than regular power bait, kinda like what you said, in between gulp and power bait. Was that your impression fishing with it?
I like the way you say CREATURE BAITS..
well in this case CREATURE HAWG !!
👍
Love ur vids
Thanks!
How good is that H2O xpress rod feels?
I like it for what I Paid, $25
Don't ya hate when they take half your bait right at the hook, lol. I also dislike people who trash the water. Awesome video.
Would you say you caught 45% more fish than usual?
Nope. I caught more on the Power Worm
i see a patern it seem like your alway catching on something greenish in color i think its a hint i hear and copy that my master the fish is strong with you keep it realistic buddy
Some people have no idea how to break the line off at the knot on a snagged hook so you dont leave 100 feet of line in the water.
