I unironically think that the fish randomizer is an incredibly awesome setting, and peak comedy seeing a map swoop in to snag your hook

While I'm not sure it'd do the same thing, I believe there is work being done on randomizing actions like climbing :)
I was considering something like this, my though was the buttons themselves are randomized. So you cant use the A button or B button or any C buttons until you find them.
But if you think about it, there are only like 2 checks that don’t require you to press buttons in some way so the A button would have to be one of those checks absolutely to not soft lock every seed.
@@viovenus992 "Open" is a context action, so if all the context actions are randomized, that would effectively prevent you from opening chests until you find it.

The fact that you need to find the clocks in order for you to get the full 3 days tells me that basically, if Link can’t tell what time it is, the world just ends.

On a more basic level, forcing someone to shit or piss would kill them pretty quickly due to dehydration

It was hilarious watching you fish up boss keys and hookshots, I think it's worth having fish randomized just for that (and also it's funny seeing you obtain fish from skulltulas).

Randomizing the fish was the best decision ever made I was legit in s h a m b l e s laughing every time you saw a fish in the a overworld, or in a chest, NOT TO MENTION, going to the fishing hole and seeing the hookshot or big key fighting for its life HAHAHAHA it's perfect. Maybe the loading zones to enter certain areas and dungeons can be placed into the item pool and if you try to enter an area through a loading zone you haven't found yet, it spits you back out from where you tried to enter.
It feels so good to see you actually win a no-logic Triforce quest.

just realized that 15:00 is supposed to be the visual effect for King Crimson, which is actually an accurate use of the effect XD
Me and my friend made a ootmm multiworld and his A button was the ...... kid loach.... ( for those who doesn't know. To make the loach spawn one needs to get the big fish reward then pay and leave 4 times the pond, and if you scare the loach, it's faster to leave and pay again 4 times then waiting the actual 15 mins timer where the loach is almost impossible to catch.) Didn't know that fish existed until we ran out of option and check the spoiler log.
To all the rando enjoyers. Beware of the loach.

This is the craziest randomizer I've seen
Imagine if Navi is randomized and so is Dungeons like you have to find them in order to get into them
But imagine if the doors were randomised between both games, and entering any area was a russian roulette that chipped away at your MM time.

I assume it's not possible, but it would be fun if you could randomize the order of days/nights in MM. Would alter how you'd have to approach the cycles.

I can't be the only one that's a little incredulous about the fact that every single one of Phil's "No Logic" randomizers have been beatable.
Like, they're entertaining, but the little bit at the beginning about them being no logic and potentially unbeatable may as well just not be there. Because A, if you're seeing this video it obviously was beatable, and B, it wouldn't be terribly entertaining to have a run almost immediately end because the logic is broken. It's fine. After all, the knowledge that it is beatable would arguably make the videos more entertaining since we as the audience know that no matter how much you struggle, there must be something you're missing.
Some of his runs that were not beatable have been uploaded, but that being said No Logic != Not Beatable. It just means it *might* not be beatable... depending on your knowledge of the game. Phil knows enough tricks and glitches that no logic seeds become significantly more beatable, keep in mind there really is no such thing as a unbeatable seed when SRM exists (Phil does not use SRM in randos).
For Phil a no logic seed will mostly require him to exercise his knowledge of the game and perform glitches in unusual ways to get to areas not typically possible and this is where in my opinion it can get pretty interesting.

The fish being randomized as items to catch reminds me of fishing games where you can catch boots or tires, it's hilarious
You can set the options as ascending (starting with first day), descending (starting with third night), or separate (starting with a random day or night).
@@DementisXYZ How does separate even work? If you end the first 12 hours and you have Night 2 but none of the others, do you skip up to the one you have, or do you get mooned unless you have a continuous stream of days?
@@jazpuh yup. If you have, say, 1st night and only find 3rd day, then you'll skip over all of day and night 2, go into day 3, then you get crushed when that runs out.

I had an idea for a randomizer while watching this where instead of collecting items your instead playing a 100% completed file and your trying to put items BACK in chests and such but the item selected is random forcing you to think differently for every check every chest. Like do you want to go for a really annoying chest or one way far in the game, stuff like that. I think it would be interesting at least
Are clocks progressive? If not then what would happen if you found something like night 2 before night 1 and day 2?
In this run they were progressive but you can choose, ascending, descending or random order
what would happen at the end of day 1 if you had any other time besides night 1? would moon crash or would you go to that day?
honestly i play skyward sword rando and yep "i love random standing rupees" didn't rage quit at all :)
