Very nice Andy! I found the making of the jig every bit as interesting as the actual turning of the pendant. I’m certainly going to have a go at both! I just know I’ll be the guy chiseling my jig off the worm screw as the CA dries!! Thanks again. Cheers, Rick
Hi Rick... Thank you so much... I'm glad that you found both parts of the video interesting... I'm always happy when someone tells me that they are going to make their own... both of them as well.. Nice looking pendant Any and a great explanation on making the jig. I am all about making jigs and saving money. And it really is not about saving money I just like making special jigs. Great video my friend! Take care, Gary

Glad you showed how to make the jig! Enjoy your “damp” Cornwall. We have had only one day with rain since early June. They officially declared us in drought status. Not complaining. It has been one of the nicest summers so far with mild, pleasant temperatures. You are winning the rain challenge!
Hi Valerie... Haha.. yes.. it is a bit damp here again... I'm glad that you have enjoyed your mild, pleasant summer even if you have a drought... Our "summer" was short and unbearable... We have been on a hosepipe ban for 18 months now... goodness knows why... I'm not sure that I should be too smug about winning the rain challenge ... Although I do prefer rain to high temperatures...good job really... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
Nice job and I like the jig with the off-set. I've made pendants before but just usually carefully drilled the hole for the necklace. One thing I do on the front is cut a concave circle that will fit a cabochon. I get them from ebay and you can search for specific styles. For example Christmas, mountain scenes, waterfalls and kid related samples. Sorry to hear about your workshop...Ultrawoody sent me over. I'm a new scriber now and will be looking at the rest of your content.
Well done! I haven’t watched you for awhile but I binge watched you last night and today! This one in particular is so well done, making pendant making a breeze! Thanks for sharing your wisdom here. Greetings from the US.

That’s a great jig Andy! It just goes to show that a valuable jig doesn’t need to be expensive or store bought. Nice pendant too!😊. Please send rain my way - we are about 7 inches short for the year.

Great job Andy. I was using a commercial jig a couple of weeks ago that very much the same thing. Advantage of yours is the cost is practically zero. Thanks for sharing.
HI Andy. Nice little quick and easy pendant on a home made jig. what more can one as for. Well done. A very simple and quick fix until you get that other revolving tail centre is place a small 6mm washer on the point of your current centre. It will still allow you to centre the piece without such a deep point mark in your wood blank. Cheers Jim
Hi Jim... Thank you very much for your kind words as always... Ahhh yes... great tip that... I will definitely be using that one... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy

Great video, Coincidentally I have been making pendants today and will be making your jig as an improvement on mine. Sorry to hear of your rain as it’s 30plus cent daily hear in the south of France 🌞🌞🌞
Hi Geoff... Thank you very much... I hope that my jig design will help you with your pendant production line... Between you and me... I'd rather have the rain...😊☔🌨 Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
Nice pendant Andy. I've made a couple of dozen pendants on my Proxxon mini-lathe, mostly hybrid resin/burl blanks from Emma Cook (Tiny Turner). After sawing off the corners, I mount mine on a block smaller than the pendant so that I can shape the edge in one operation, using masking tape and superglue. I turn at just over 1000rpm and have never had a flier yet. There is also almost no glue residue to clean up afterwards. I really must get around to filming my method one of these days 😁
Put a small nut over the sharp point of the tail center to keep it from marking the wood. Just don't forget the nut is there when you pull the tailstock back, or your nut will be gone.
Hi User.... Thank you so much... Circle open box.. ?.. I wonder if you are referring to the small hinged box on my latest video... If so ... it was from Procraft.. here in UK... Hi Andy - good to see you, hope you are well! I really enjoyed watching this thanks for showing us about the jig especially. What was the double sided sticky paper that you used?

How do you ensure that none of the CA glue dries on the the wormhole screw? Do you need to clean it with any kind of solvent? Or does it just not affect the screw if some of it dries onto it?
Hi Wendy... The CA soaks into the wood and as long as you screw it down and immediately unscrew it, then it won't stick to the woodworm screw... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
that's excellent. Thank you. And great video! I was especially excited about learning how to make the jig. And the pendant is beautiful. 2 granddaughter birthdays coming up in the next few weeks. Thanks again! @@AndysCornishCreations
