i'm 22 years old and I had special education all my life, It was embarrassing and I would be ashamed of most of the time. However, I use to play on the football team as a starting tight end for my high school football team. I would always stand up for those special needs kids cause they get picked on the most.
I was in special ed when I was in school for only like 25% of my day but it helped a lot cause if it was not for special ed classes I would of never graduated in the top 20 of my whole class so thank you for being special ed teacher
I am a special needs student through out my school career and now I am college wanting to become a Special Education Teacher because I want to help special needs kids and support them with everything everywhere they do and go
A 4th grader teased a kid with adhd, and they were mocking him (which I got mad), just because someone has a learning disability doesn’t mean you can bully them, I also will stand up for kids with adhd like me.
I have ADHD as well as high functioning autism, dyslexia, and some speech delays. I’ve been in special Ed since 4th grade and I’m now in 10th grade and I was bullied a lot, not only from my friends but from my teachers to from my old school. Thankfully, I’m at a better school.
Fight to Fly Photography yes.. and there's 4 AIDS for the 4 students.. who are 1 on 1 and they do All the teaching so that the "teacher" can do paperwork.
Fight to Fly Photography im an Apprentice Teacher ( student teacher ) I teach 6th - 8th grade co-ed all subjects ( math, reading, science, history ) my Corroperating Teachers dont help me during the 4 days and 2 hours a day I am there. I have a case load of 7 to 9 students with autism to down syndrome its a challange
I was a special ed student most of my years in school all the way up to graduation that I have a learning disability mostly trouble with the reading and writing.
I know when I'm older I want to be a Special Education teacher, I do help everyone who does have disabilities but I'm only in 5 grade going on to 6 next year. I have years to go be for I become one
That’s not true you’re not “stupid” and remove that horrible word from your vocabulary! You’re capable, smart, likable, valuable, and so much more. Anyone whom has a problem with you having and IEP that’s their problem and not yours. The quickest way that I can explain special education is that your teachers are able to tailor the lesson plans specifically to your needs. There is no limit on your success please continue to be a bright light in the world!
Same here. I am on the spectrum and I was in Special Ed with kids that were lower than my level. I don't like how they acted like I wasn't smart. I feel embarrassed. It was a relief off my shoulders (I was younger then).
No day is the same as a Special ed teacher... I love this message... Everyday is a very special day when your teaching this kids
