That was a great video guys! Carol and I really want to make a return trip to Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier National Parks. There’s something so peaceful about those areas. The grandeur of those parks can evoke so much emotion and make you feel so fortunate and blessed to live in such a beautiful country. And there’s nothing better than seeing it with loved ones. Thank you for sharing your experiences and may God bless your family.

      Hey Doug and Carol, thanks!
We'd like our next stop in that area to be Glacier National Park. It was tough to chose NOT to make that 3 hour drive while we were so close but...another time. :)
You're so right, "FAMILY". To be in these absolutely beautiful places and to share those experiences with my wonderful wife and our kids is nothing less than a blessing.
Thanks Doug and Carol for watching our videos, we really like knowing that you two appreciate this beautiful planet as much as we do.☺

Thanks for the video. We are planing this trip. I can’t believe in July there isn’t more people in this camp ground. I guess everyone is staying inside the park.

      Hey Bob.
We thought the same thing while we were there. Like you said, maybe folks prefer to be closer. To us it was just close enough to enjoy the whole park. We can hardly wait to return.
Thanks, Bob, for watching our video!
      Happy Trails & Happy Camping!

Great video, are you able to cook out?

      Hey Bob
      Thanks!!
We were and we did cook out. We grilled when we had time. It was really nice because the temperatures were in the 60s near dusk. Our son John did the outside cooking 😁😁, I watched.
Thanks for watching our video, Bob!

what beautiful sights. may i ask how many days it took to travel there? i live in slidell not far from you. thanks God bless

      Thanks twoblah
It's a tough drive straight there so we broke it up. We stopped at Rapid City for a few days (2.5 days to drive there) then drove 1 day to north Yellowstone. From Yellowstone to Grand Teon was only a few hours (3). It took us 2.5 days to get home from Grand Teton National Park.
We were on the road for about two weeks for the whole vacation.
Note: I-70 in Missouri is just as busy as I-12 in Louisiana 😳😳😳
We had the best time, the USA has beautiful scenery.
Thanks for watching our video, twoblah.

@@RetroRVRecon no, thank you, you don't know how many campgrounds we reserve after watching your channel. i have a family of campers and i tell them to watch your channel to decide what sites to get or just good places to go. i would like to go next year to wallace creek lake next. God bless

    • @RetroRVRecon

      @@twoblah1 Awesome!☺☺
The whole reason we started to video our stays was to help other folks find a good spot to go RV camping.
Our stay at Wallace Creek was a last minute decision and we still got a nice campsite. I'd like to go back in the future for one of the lake side sites. If memory serves me site 30 was AWESOME!😀 FYI, I think they start to drain the reservoir in the fall.
      Thanks again twoblah!

the barn with the fence is on what side of the road when you get there. I have seen the barn without the fence. Is this one across the road

    • @RetroRVRecon
      @RetroRVRecon  5 місяців тому

      Hey John.
The barn with the fence is north of the other one. Turning east onto Antelope Flats Rd from 191, go 1.7 miles and the barn is on the left. There is a little parking area you can turn on to.
We hope you enjoy it as much as Angel and I did!!
Thanks for watching our video John!
