My mom had a red Toyota Chaser and we often drove to my grandparents' house in this car. And since they lived far away, I used to sleep in the back seats while my mom drove us on the highway, and that sound, I fell asleep very well under it. My favorite part was when we were driving on the highway and my least favorite part was when we were leaving the city (it took a day of continuous driving) to the village where the roads were, if lucky, made of stones.
My mother loved this old Toyota. Sometimes it even seems like she loved it more than me.
The most satisfying low speed engine noise. Sounds a lot like my grandpa's 1995 Honda Gold Wing.
Driving down Lower Wacker tunnels is a whole whole vibe when you're in a fun, modified car. Must've been a blast in this thing
