Some guys (like myself) run tractor tires backwards for better deep water/mud traction. In some conditions they clean out better and grab better. Did you notice all the truck running them that way were going forward faster instead of crawling. Running them backwards also keeps the tires from wanting to dig.
I still don't know where the Slough 2.0 is located... Are you working on some more videos from this event still? Truck Pull or how about the up hill rock climb? Let me know when you do and I'll add them to my playlist because I did film these events, but I didn't get all of the runs, it would be nice to add them to the playlist making it more complete.
AwesomeDocumentary Yeah took us a while to find it in the mess lol. I really didnt get that much footage from bricks, it was such a muddy mess getting around that It was difficult to film. I missed a lot but enjoy watching your footage of the madness.
Russ Lashley Seems like it doesn't matter after killing everything living in the slough and polluting up the air? I enjoyed watching this too but that seems petty
sir eliot Pretty sure the slough was man made for this event, not much living in there. Air pollution is a far stretch, I bet a garbage truck puts out more emissions than these rigs.
+LankyProgressTV Thanks for watching! Check out more, you wont find this in Cali, side by side racing up a ski hill- ua-cam.com/video/mNMJS1d3Rh0/v-deo.html located in Northern Michigan.
Love it bt hate to be polluting all that water and where it ends up nobody knows. We may need it one-day. Notice when out 4 wheelin in a popular areas there isn't much wildlife
The 55 or so Chevy.... Is that trubo charged? It's a straight 6 right? That was way too much wheel speed for the 100 hp those old trucks made. It was really cool to see though. I'm jealous that we don't get any mud in Cali.
Thanks for watching! Not to sure on the motor specs, all these trucks where pretty much skin and bones with big tires. They had the insides gutted to just a seat and steering wheel ready to float the slough.
Chemdog Not a chance. 1) it doesn't sound like a diesel. 2) it doesn't sound like a 2 stroke. 3) a 653T weighs 1,600 pounds and would completely mess up the weight bias and the nose would sink. 4) It wasn't smoking. Except for the early 80's military 653's with efi, they all smoke under power and with throttle changes. That is why the green smokers were banned by the EPA.
Why are a lot of their directional tires mounted the wrong way around? I thought you're supposed to point the V of the pattern forward so it self cleans?
Vishnu R (this is fully a guess) it might help with the swimming, but maybe also going in reverse, if the trucks get stuck in deep mud, etc... so they have maybe a worse time going forward, but should they get stuck, they have a higher chance to be able to reverse out?
This is awful, who the hell thought it was a good idea to drive these things through streams? I'm all for off road capability, but this is mindless destruction. He'll use a man made pond or something, not a natural stream. you just annihilated an ecosystem
Somebody needs to teach dude driving first truck how to drive. Lol dodge sucks. Have owned a couple always had problems with them specifically tyranny problems and heat. WORTHLESS
I will never understand why none of the trucks that do this have real horsepower or locked diffs. Looks to me like a bunch of cobbled together junk. I am not impressed. Just my 2 cents.

lol yessss jackie its so obvious so mutch more gripp peace j
I said that 30 years ago but I was dismissed as a stupid kid.
@@anthonythorp7291 common sense goes a long way. That is for the ones like you that have that no brainier way of thought.
That flatbed dodge is sick.
I love the ford OL blue truck.
Awesome Video! I am adding to my Bricks Playlist. I was a little upset that I missed this so I am glad you filmed it so well!
AwesomeDocumentary Thanks! Yeah it rained hard right after it started, forgot my damn poncho so I missed a few trucks.

Like wiht mud stamp filme and AwesomeDocumentary.
i knew the jeep would make it over easy!
+Q StiX He was having fun!
yep, and probably still is, somewhere lol
This looks fun
Big red said “ fuck it ill just beat this thing”
A lot of one wheel wonders in there but still good trucks 👍👍
This does look fun. I’ll admit it
12:23 BEANRRRRRRR Lmao!!
One word. LOCKERS
That is 3 words
Got to have a weak point traction is cheaper than parts
That old chevy looks either concerned or pissed.
Any more vids with the monster Chevy that's comes on at 7:00? Love that thing.
Some heavy hitters! Holy cow
Good show of Trucks that year, make sure and watch this years Bricks Slough Challenge 2018.
love the trucks but damn how many people gonna toss their beer cans in the slough?
Russ Lashley Right?! Some people.
Russ Lashley Seems like it doesn't matter after killing everything living in the slough and polluting up the air? I enjoyed watching this too but that seems petty

Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it.
+sir eliot YOU, SIR, WIN THE EPIC FUCKING STUPIDITY AWARD.
Great camera work!
+Nick Robson Thank you sir!
this was awesome, nothing going like this in cali
+LankyProgressTV Thanks for watching! Check out more, you wont find this in Cali, side by side racing up a ski hill- ua-cam.com/video/mNMJS1d3Rh0/v-deo.html
located in Northern Michigan.
What's that spinning thing in the front diff? Looks like a disk brake maybe? Nice video! Green truck with no bed had some big floaters on. Lol.
ya that's the brakes
jmedure it's a PTO
All top loaders are built that way and yes you can run pinion brake on it or out board brakes.
Street speed is probably wishing he lived in a different state watching this.
They're moreless dredging that creek
mostly floating like boats
Love it bt hate to be polluting all that water and where it ends up nobody knows. We may need it one-day. Notice when out 4 wheelin in a popular areas there isn't much wildlife
When doing something like this, why wouldn't you have full locker in the front and rear?
SheepDogTransport axles would prob break
Some of those guys need to learn how to lock their diffs!
They spend all their time and money on power, height and tires
Wildcat Cowboy they don’t spend any money on power and most of the trucks there are worth about 7k tops
The 55 or so Chevy.... Is that trubo charged? It's a straight 6 right? That was way too much wheel speed for the 100 hp those old trucks made. It was really cool to see though. I'm jealous that we don't get any mud in Cali.

+Mud Stamp Films Haha! That diesel powered deuce and a half didn't look like it was just skin and bones!
Sounded like a Detroit 2 stroke
Chemdog Not a chance. 1) it doesn't sound like a diesel. 2) it doesn't sound like a 2 stroke. 3) a 653T weighs 1,600 pounds and would completely mess up the weight bias and the nose would sink. 4) It wasn't smoking. Larz Yea it was a 12 cyl D
Watch the Long jump Comp here- ua-cam.com/video/ioHAfyczYpw/v-deo.html
New sub. Good work. thx
Big Boys walked the dog..
Mudd Boggin in Florida lol they sure did.
some russian with a sherp is laughing at this
Russian lol how about ostacruiser? Yeah look him up but I'm sure you've heard of him
Sherp's are about as entertaining as watching mud dry.
EricTheNotSoRed these guys aren’t any different
The trucks are awesome but why no snorkels in water that deep I'd definitely want a snorkel
Cuz none of the carburetors get under water. Only rides with normal tires and no super lifts would need a snorkel. This is mudding! Not scuba diving!
Like how they just throw their trash in the water
THATS WHAT TRASH DOES!!
at 13:00 the front bumper on the truck has BEANRRRRRRRR" on it
Why are a lot of their directional tires mounted the wrong way around? I thought you're supposed to point the V of the pattern forward so it self cleans?

MvJesus
+Vishnu R the ford at the end had them going both ways
First truck in the video, he just needed to hit 2nd or 3rd gear and hit the nitrous
Yeah........ That would work really well in a DIESEL!! 😜😖
Thats an all fuel truck gas diesel kerosine whatevers handy
Are these trucks almost floating because of the mild monster truck tires?
+S619jensen Pretty much, there is a lot of air in them, enough to get them buoyant.
Everybody keeps saying lockers but most of them don't have the power to spin 4 of those big tires
Its just a thought but if you put a solid locker in the front. Steering outside of the mud will be a bitch. Just a guess
Who owns that Chevy @13:00?
Truck needs a lowerunit and propt
open diffs? what the hell
i hope someone told those guys about there tires being on backwards.. lol
Backwards chevrons perform better in some circumstances.
They don't dig when on backwards .. and they tread the water better when on backwards
A lot u know. Thats not much
That dude's belly at 18:37
We tried to re-educate those Rebels after the Civil War, but as you can see, we failed.
That may be but it sure looks like they're having fun.
отлично классно восхитительно скажите мне американцы какие там стоят моторы прошу ответить на русском
Yang warga +62 like komen aku ya,biar tahu hehehe
qua hai
i will never understand why these guys dont have lockers back and front
Break too many axle shafts with lockers on all four is my guess.
Mud was fun when I was a kid. .... too boring for me now. Think lot rigs are lacking HP
Ben.

+Damn Millenials yeah not the best idea. I heard it was man made for this event. Thanks for watching, make sure and check out more videos.
It's not man made. Look at the slopes and way of the land. Been a creek for a very long time...
Somebody needs to teach dude driving first truck how to drive. Lol dodge sucks. Have owned a couple always had problems with them specifically tyranny problems and heat. WORTHLESS
Look boring to me
Step it up a notch- ua-cam.com/video/yXQpxpYRie8/v-deo.html
Drink some beer, you'll like it then.
I will never understand why none of the trucks that do this have real horsepower or locked diffs. Looks to me like a bunch of cobbled together junk. I am not impressed. Just my 2 cents.
Haha cobbled together! Stripped down to bare minimum and held together with duct tape and zip ties.
blwebb71 would love to see you build one
blwebb71 real horsepower? Lol these truck have a SHOT TON OF F HORSE POWER
It's mud trucks for mudding. Not a car show.
