Yeh that's why I am here lol I can't remember much about this series but that scene has stayed with me for my life for some reason. Very emotive stuff that is absent from Television now. Channel 4 were on the right path. But just didn't have the audience of HBO.
I stayed up late to watch this when I was 10. The best line/exchange in the show has stuck with me ever since then: 8:25 to 8:36 Morgan Le Fay: "They made me beautiful." Merlin: "Poor Morgan. It is only an illusion." Morgan "Beauty is always only an illusion, Merlin. Didn't you know that?" Good thing Merlin has healing magic, cuz he just got burned
Rewatching this I find it sad that where Morganna met Frick, is where she later died. But it also comes full circle because he turned her "beautiful" at the bottom of the steps and when she is dying and back in her original form, he still sees her beauty, and she sees him the same way too. Thereby proving that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. ❤
.......omg....this is like my favorite show I used to watch and rewatch this with my dad all the time. And I never never noticed this. Thank you so much for sharing this!
Я только что об этом подумала, спасибо!!!Значит Люциус Малфой это гном Фрик,забавно,теперь будем знать!!!(а я всегда думала,чего Малфои такие тупые,конечно,они же гномы!)
Yes very beautiful. Solace has its own beauty that happiness feels bare & hollow to by comparison. Listen to Riverman by Nick Drake & pay close attention to the mood. It's utterly sublime - just like this scene here. Count your blessings & value every atom. Time is the true currency of the mortal.
It’s funny because Miranda Richardson and Helena are both my favourite female actresses and when I discovered this film and saw Miranda kill her I didn’t know how to feel

Just weird to see Morgan Le Fay as Ancient Rome lady. Also, they got story wrong. It was Morgawse, Morgan Le Fay's sister , who had accidental incest with King Arthur.
It's really hard to be on Merlin's side in this scene. Morgan didn't say anything that wasn't true. Merlin did use her and broken up her family causing her to be discarded and he never even tried to make amends. You can't blame her for hating him for everything he did. And even after she told him how she felt and his reaction? No care for her he just bitched that she opposed and threatened his plans.
"Am I still beautiful?" "Beyond words, my love." What a touching scene.
This scene brings me to tears every time.
I cry jesus that sad love story

It was a great way of them showing that beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I know this is all about Helena's performance, but Martin Short was also amazing.
The whole film was great.

Isn't it strange to watch Helena and Martin acting together in a TV show? I don't know why but I find it funny hahah
What a sad end! :(
They are really not nice to us viewers ,it was so beautiful her and blonde elf ...😢

I loved a room with a view.... My favourite love story
Two Queens of Hearts in the same movie and one of them is in love with the mad hatter.
I somehow managed to see this as a child in 2006. It really spooked me.
@6:38
Yes, even a year before Jar Jar Binks, Morgan Le Fay was saying how "wude" someone was.
I love her.
Mab (who I think is Miranda Richardson) sounds like Andy Serkis as Gollum
Beautiful
Man mordred what kind a bastard she kills injured his own mother between him he doesent care . Umbelievable
I would watch the movie only for Helena Bonham Carter😍
I still see her as that mad smiling Bellatrix. Bella but beautiful than that now.
Omg she is so CUUUUITE im dying❤️😍😍
Can i just say that Martin Short with blonde hair might be the 2nd hottest thing (next to regular Martin Short)
Ikr
He does scrub up nicely!
When my mom saw this film she couldn't believe it was the same actor who played Franck in Father Of The Bride!
I see the Bellatrix in her in this
I love the opening theme song
The OG Bellatrix hairdo
Everytime i wacht it, think this could be Bellatrix Lestrange in young and beautiful, before she was in askaban 🖤
But that's so sad :(
15:57 that's heartbreaking moment

I need her hair color
Her son is also her nephew?
Morgan and Frick.,💌💌
She goes from serious to childish
I always liked Martin Short, but I never thought of his as Hot. Then THIS fucking movie happened.
How did they make her one eye smaller? Helena's eye isnt so?
Probably prosthetics to cover it and make up to match it to the colour of her skin.
"Now! Get me the thwone !"
Where can I see it ??

So is she related to John Bonham?
