Out of all the animated movies in 2022, this one is most certainly Oscar-worthy. This film not receiving an award would be a crime.
And Best Original Song for Ciao Papa
The Oscar voters has better opinions than anybody else and I trust them.
Do you like the director of this movie?
@@jwelch5742 Do you like this movie's director?
Agree but also just fell grateful that o got it this year and able to see it three times in theater and on Netflix now. Just grateful. For me it’s a winner.
this movie is not only the best animated movie in 2022, but should be also in best movie category, it is a pure piece of art
You can tell how much GDT loves his children with this movie. Pinocchio is Best Picture material, let alone Best Animated Picture.
Mtro. del Toro tu sensibilidad llegando a nuestros corazones a través de tu Arte e infinito talento... México siempre en ti y proyectado al Mundo 🥲 infinitas gracias
Debe darle gracias a Andrés Manuel López Obrador
If there was ever a year for an animated film to be nominated for best picture, it would be this year
Yes it should
He’s going to get an Oscar win for this.
He must to!
Guillermo del Toro became the first filmmaker to win Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Picture and Best Animated Feature for different films.
Beautiful film. Incredible stop motion animation. This is pure art.
Best movie I hope it wins main category
@@ThePlotaGuy7 I agree

Do you like the director Anna?
Amazing, women animators!!! Great conversation and I’ve watched his animation series multiple times with my granddaughters on Netflix! Thank you!
💀
If Disney or Pixar beat Guillermo to the Oscar, I'm smashing something.

jwelch is representative of the anti-intellectualism & cannot think for yourself. You lost our last argument.
The only question it's if this movie can win BEST MOVIE.
I think this novie can be nominated for best movie
This Movies from GDT is such a delight.
I wonder if Ciao Papa would get a Best Original Song nomination
Made me cry
@@dariussalepetru6770 yes. Along with Fire of Love and The Batman
@@emiliobello2538 The Batman is not in Shortlist Original Score
@@dariussalepetru6770 could have had potential
When he was a child, del Toro saw and liked Walt Disney's 1940 animated film adaptation in Guadalajara, Mexico, partially because he felt it was like a "horror movie" in its own way due to a few intense moments it included. Since his teen years, he had longed to make his own version of the story. Pinocchio was the first animated film for a streaming service under the animation studio Netflix Animation, who have also competed with three previous nominations for the same category, as well as the seventh non-Disney/Pixar film to win and the first non-Disney/Pixar film since Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the second stop-motion animated film after Aardman's Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and the Adventures of Pinocchio's second adaptation to win any category from the Academy Awards after Disney's Pinocchio.
Absolutely loved the Movie, couldn’t hold back tears 😭
Saw it yesterday was a wild ride
Pinocchio is overall the best film of 2022.
Super movie loved . Oscar 2023
This have to be on best picture
Best Picture?
A tour de force in my book
Gonna watch this over the Disney one
I want Netflix or DreamWorks to win over Pixar this time
Guillermo del Toro's version deserves to get Robert Zemeckis's live-action adaptation the boot for trying to make the Oscar-winning original 1940 Disney animated version look guilty.
