Had forgotten that when R&W became National, the beautifully made cream enamel BRISTOL/ECW centre badge on the MW (between the front wings), was replaced with the not so attractive double N emblem. Thankfully I do have one!
Hello Peter. Actually Red and White vehicles didn't look too bad in National livery. Great shame that the name disappeared and Western Welsh as well. Regards Dave.
Chepstow is in Wales and not Gloucestershire. Did any Red and White buses go across the Severn Bridge to Bristol, and any green Bristol buses in Chepstow?
Hello Robert. Unfortunately, National White destroyed many of our classic coach liveries. Just like you I loved the Bristol RELH / ECW coaches. The Duple coach design was not the best. I always preferred Plaxton. Regards Dave.

Ah - even in National White the beautiful considered design of the RELH/ECW shines through.....especially next to the Duple c**p!
