Earlier today I was at a bar on the beach in Mexico and heard the house band play this song. It was amazing. I also heard Santana perform this song live in Las Vegas and that was also amazing. It's a 10/10.

Reportedly Tito wasn't happy with this version at first because it's much more "rock" than the original Puente version. But then Tito got that first big royalty check, and everything was cool.

I have the vinyl record. My mom was born in 1954 and myself in ‘85. She was a big hippie and played her ‘70’s music when I was growing up. Unfortunately she passed away almost two years ago from chronic heart failure, diabetes, and COPD but I will forever love the music she played! 😊❤

I started getting into Santana's music in 1974 while being stationed on Ft. Benning, GA, for the first time. My buddy Pedro was into his music and introduced me to it. I've been hooked since. The lady I had on my first tour in South Korea, 1976-77, was also into Santana. Her favorite song? Samba Pa Ti. Whenever it was played in a club she pulled me to the dance floor.😋

The first time I heard "Oye, Como Va!", it was when I was 15!... Now I'm 65, and the Great Guitar Player named "Carlos Santana" is still enchanting us all with the marvelous, amazing sensational sound of his guitar!...
No matter how many years has passed, music will remain forever!...
And, no matter how many other guitarists may climb the stairway to fame, to me Carlos Santana will always remain the best guitar player of all times!... I've heard Santana's "Evil Ways" for the very first time in 1969 and, since then, I am one of the greatest fanatic fans of Carlos Santana's music!...

None of the stands had their names in Japanese prior to Part 7 and the only one to meet this criterion in the main canon is Boku No Rhythm Wo Kiitekure, whose name translates in Spanish to something like the first lyrics ("Oye Como Va Mi Ritmo"). A nossa vibração frequencial sobe até as nuvens. Sobe até os ETs que estão acompanhando os nossos movimentos, e eles devem gostar muito também, da sua música e de você. This version changed popular music FOREVER! It's so in the pocket. We are proud to have recorded versions with Tito Puente Jr and done many shows around the world together honoring his legendary father, Tito Puente Sr with our own versions of his great songs. Santana introduced this incredible song to the world, made it their own in the process and helped Tito Sr get the recognition he deserves. But in fact, Tito deserves more recognition than he has received and we are doing our best to share his music with the world. We look forward to a new documentary and maybe biographical movie made about his life which is in the works. Hopefully, it will get produced and released. Thanks to Carlos and the original great Santana band for this plus the continued inspirational shows/songs these 51 years later! We just saw Carlos and the current band in September 2021 in Orlando and it was as hot as the first time we saw him with Al DiMeola opening the show in Shelton CT in August of 1980!
