Nice cool segment. I'v been using this for some time now, but then the "pineapple/server" is running a service which wgets a webpage and looks for the number 1 if its 1 then it connects back to the "VPS" ;) This allows for remote connect and disconnect of the "pineapple/firewall" Cheers JustM
how can i ssh "piggyback"? i have at my home two routers: 1. on my external ip 2. as a client on my neighbours wifi soo in my house i have two gateways i can ssh to my ip and route traffic on my ip but how can i connect to my ip with ssh and go on the internet threw my second so get in by my ssh and go out by the second one?
Not every provider (especially the bigger ones) have public IP reserved for all devices. Most big 3G providers will have to resort to NAT private to public IP addresses to conserve dwindling public IP address to be used with their huge 3G client base. Either way, having the SSH tunnel to a relay will keep you golden in whereever you are connected to, whether it be public or NAT'd.
Out of my 100 floppys of DOOM maps I made about 10 were still readable. So there is hope for some of those old disks... and they were super cheapo disks.
You don't have part 2 linked in the playlist!
"Look it's the cloud!" *lmaf* you rock :D
if your connecting to pineapples 3g why would it be behind the corp firewall? shouldnt 22 be open over 3g?
What if firewalls block the ssh protocol outbound?
Great video, is access to your relay server limited to wifi-pineapple owners? I can think of a million other uses for it :-)
Maan, I love this show! Sad I couldnt join the pardaayyy! :(
