Do you think that certs like comptia linux+ or lpic are worth doing?

      Hi
If you haven't got any previous IT experience then yes- definately worth it.
That is how I started my journey-did CompTia A+, then CompTia Network+ and Cisco CCNA and landed my first job as Network Operations Centre Engineer.
If you like playing with linux and prefer systems engineer or similar role then defo Linux+ and LPIC are the way to go.
Certs are less and less relevant when you have years of experience, but at the beginning they are one of the very few things you can boost your CV with.
      Good luck!
