When george pulls that golf ball out of his pocket... that's one of the greatest moments in TV history... just the way it ties the whole episode together was unreal.
My name is George. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents. The way he brings that, like he literally has nothing left to lose. And it's true, people love confidence. Especially from people who don't look like they're supposed to be something - like George. Such an epic show about nothing and yet everything...
George and Kramer are the best main characters. Side characters there are so many great ones but I'd say Newman, Puddy, George's father, Steinbrenner and Lloyd Braun are tops. As for Jerry he is the most stable, even-keeled character that makes all the witty observations about the crazy world around him
"In closing, these stories have not been embellished because they need no embellishment. They are simply, horrifyingly, the story of my life as a short, stocky, slow-witted, bald man. Thank you"
And yet, he embellished anyway! For george claims that the shrinkage was revealed when he "dropped the towel", but watching the original clip we can see he actually dropped his swim trunks ...
A joke made before by Groucho Marx in Duck Soup, when Margaret Dumond, talking about her husband, says: 'He's dead', to which Groucho replies 'I bet he's just using that as an excuse.'
🎵Believe it or not, George isn't at home please leave a message at the beep, I must be out, or I'd pick up the phone Where could I be? Believe it or not I'm not home🎵
I would have been delighted to hear that, but I am a child of the 80’s and was a big fan of that show( although if I watched it today, it probably was awful. Lol)
George was my favorite character but i will have to disagree with that statement. The show was the best sitcom of all time in my opinion and it had many characters that made the show "work".
George was only left out of 2 shows cuz he told Larry David if I cant be in every episode, i dont wanna be on the show anymore so he wasn't taken out again. Jason Alexander originally wanted to act in plays and win toni awards not emmys or oscars
This show wouldn’t of worked without Jason Alexander I know the character is based on Larry David’s experience of life but he is awesome as this person can watch him again and again
When George told his story of misery to the committee for the apartment building he was trying to get into, the contest is classic, doing the opposite, George is my hero, there is a little bit of Costanza in all of us!
George and Larry David are the most relatable characters in television. Says a lot about me I know. Also Moe, Krusty, and Gil the salesman from Simpsons
There's at least another 3 videos of this stuff, equal or even superior quality. When I was younger. I thought Kramer was the feature, and he's great. But his craziness and stunts are supported by George's solid self-loathing & such. George is the center of the show. Seinfeld (the show) has been lauded with much praise, but I somehow feel Jason Alexander is still underrated(?)
if George and Jerry graduated from JFK Secondary in 1971 (according to the show), that would mean that during the first season of the show (aired in 1989), Jerry and George were 36 years old (close to their real ages). Kramer is so weird ~ like he's a famous photograper ~ Posing Dumpy George ~ Who wrote this Larry ~ George is Seinfeld's Voodoo Doll ~ He will do anything ~ just takes enough pins ~

You take the words for me. That's exactly what I wrote here a few minutes ago (a few months after you) :)
Which episode??
"The sea was angry that day, my friends, like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli."
PRICELESS

same here.... without George, I wouldn't have bought the DVDs of all the seasons. He is COMIC GOLD
+88mike me too, everything about him makes me laugh, everything
Same
Agreed. Partly because I think I’m slowly becoming him.
@@carmipucinelli189 Damn You George Costanza
It's hard to pick a favorite character, because they are all so good, but George has got to be my favorite
Jerry and Puddy are my faves
Mike Alcott I would have to agree with you.. George is the most relatable character. In a way I think that we all have a George Costanza in our lives
He's a peach.
Kramer might be my fave but I am George lol.

Says the man who lives a complete fraud of a life.
The way he ran out of the birthday party and afterwards explained himself that he is a hero, and not a loser, is one of my favourite moment.
Seemingly. Seemingly.

No other actor could have played George as good as he does
Jason Alexander was brilliant. George is the reason why Seinfeld worked. Without him there is no show
"His wife's in a coma"
"I bet ya she's using that as an excuse"

I've driven women to lesbianism before but never to a mental institution
I believe the funniest George scene is where he is trying to convince Susan that he is a smoker, "I can't stop now...", So funny
Jerry: But you don't smoke.
George: No...
"well i can't stop now. these things gotta hold of me" scottie stanley, too much!!!

I love George for so many reasons.
George, the reason this show worked.
George was my favorite character but i will have to disagree with that statement. The show was the best sitcom of all time in my opinion and it had many characters that made the show "work".
Elaine had a few "moments" also.....she's always putting her foot in her mouth; i.e. pony
but overall...George did make the show
How about Kramer?
Worked with me, at least. I watched this show for George. Liked Newman and J.Peterman too. But George was phenomenal
This show worked because everyone worked.
"And you want to be my latex salesman?"
in these trying times this is where i go for comfort
Summer of George...
“The sea was angry that day my friends” and “here’s to feeling good all the time” are my top 2 lines from this show.

That's one of the classic "audience laughs" when George pulls out the golf ball.

All time favorite Seinfeld character
THE FIRE SCENE ALWAYS CRACKS ME UP HAHA
Greatest sitcom character of all time.
10:15 like it when George has that music for his answering machine
If you take everything I've ever done, condensed it down to one day...it looks decent.
I don't care what anybody says this was the funniest sitcom of the '90s for sure if not of all time!!
Actually, compared to a lot of people nowadays, George was in pretty good shape. And Victoria was a sexy lionness!
"I'm Victoria, hi!" Victoria is gorgeous!!! Wow!!! 🥰🥰🥰
This guy made that show. Jason Alexander is the better actor, his character is the most corrupt.......I mean complex
"'Cause the murderer struck again! Hey!"
I like watching seinfeld's sitcom's over & over because when I watch it the thing's they say I know it by memory.I'm like a genius,
"I've spent so much time trying to get them to take their clothes off, I never thought of taking mine off"
"The Naked Man" before it was coined.

George is the tragic hero in this play we called Seinfeld
Elaine was the glue of the show but George is my favorite character.
I love the scene with the fire hahahahahaha
Should’ve got one award at least
8:52 You left out the best part of that scene where Kramer says, "Hole in one." 😆

This is missing the very funny “Was that wrong?” moment from the red dot episode.

if George and Jerry graduated from JFK Secondary in 1971 (according to the show), that would mean that during the first season of the show (aired in 1989), Jerry and George were 36 years old (close to their real ages). By the end of the show, the 9th season (aired 1998) Jerry and George were 45 years old!! - This makes me feel relieved to know that 35 - 45 is still pretty young and I can still enjoy the not-married life.
Don't ever get married out of obligation

You're basing you well-being off a fucking sitcom about nothing... Yeah, I don't wanna be around your mid-life crisis

35-45 isn’t “pretty young”. You’re basically middle-aged, at that point. If you want to get married and have kids, do it in your 20s.
