Despite having heard the original thousands of times, I don't believe I have ever appreciated it as much as I just did hearing you sing it. It's as if the lyrics just finally clicked.
In 2006 my mom passed away. My dear niece burned me a CD of 17 songs, but my truck CD player would not play it, so I just keep it, until... I thought of trying it in the DVD player in 2008. Great version but not hearing the bass line in this song really hurts. It compliments the guitar and melody so beautifully.

I wish I found this cover months ago. My sons father and I weren’t in good terms but he still was a big part of my live. We lost him in May and we would listen to death cab for cutie while I was pregnant with our first born.
