You have any tips for my first festival, it’s Hulaween. I’m 35 and spent a couple grand just getting everything ready and the vip tickets/camping ♍️👑 Thanks for your time 👑👻 I’m nervous but ready lol.
@@jessezamudio4625 omg I’m so excited for you for Hula! I haven’t been but I think at Hula, you can park anywhere but maybe it’s different since you’re VIP. I would say bring a canopy but since I think you’re gonna actually camp in the forest, the tree cover will provide shade. I recommend keeping a separate cooler for your food and drinks. To make the food cooler last longer, use insulation around the edges of the inside of the cooler and top. Also freeze water bottles and ice packs vs ice to keep food cool. I’ve wasted so much food at festivals because the ice melts and gets into the food. Cheese sticks, meats like paninis and hard boiled eggs are your best friend for quick protein snacks. If you can, eat that before you sleep at the end of the night. Drink a Liquid IV every morning. Bring lights for your camp at night. String lights are always vibey. Buy a camping rug. It’s so nice to be able to take your shoes off at the end of the night and sprawl out on the ground/stretch without touching the ground. Or a yoga mat at the very least. Baby wipes. Lots of baby wipes. Bring your AirPods. Idk how the service is but download/save sleeping sounds like waves or crickets or something so that can play while you sleep just in case you end up closer to the music at the afters and want to sleep. Bring an eye mask too. Carry a hydration pack. I usually always have baby wipes, hand sanitizer, a mask for if it’s dusty, a phone leash/clutch loop. I doubt theft is crazy at Hula but you can never be too safe. I always wear the hydro pack along with a cross body bag in the front for phone and wallet and other important things . Hiking boots are my go to for camping festivals. Comfort over anything else. Wear earplugs!! Buy a paid or Eargasm earplugs if you haven’t already. If you get anxious for whatever reason, remind yourself that you’re there for the music, so focus on the music to help you get out of whatever mood you’re in. Bring something to trade/give to people whether that’s Kandi or little toys. Make a point to go and look at the vendors. I always like to put money aside to splurge there. You can find some super unique stuff at the vendors! Say “excuse me, thank you” when trying to get through a crowd. It’s the fastest way when people can hear you and you’re being respectful vs just pushing through the crowd. lol that’s all off the top of my head just now! Hope that helps! You’re gonna have a great time!
@@heathergosse THANK YOU SO MUCH! 👑 That helps a lot! I can’t wait to meet you at one of these 1 day. I think Electric Forest is my next one, my friend who I was in the army with always wanted to go and passed away. Thank you for your time explaining everything 💯it means more than you know!
