Bowers & Wilkins launches 600 Series S3 range

Quite a few people didn't like the high treble response from the previous S2 version.
I've got the 606 S2 & HTM6 S2 running on an NAD 758v3i. With the help of Dirac Live full version.
It makes them completely sing

I had the previous pair for about a month, eventually they had to go. Got a pair of Revels, they are very very good.

I bought the original DM 603s back in the late 90s. I still use them and they sound good. How would the new 603 S3 compare and would it be worth upgrading?

Hard to say without hearing them but definitely worth a listen back to back if you can. The good think about Bowers is the upgrade each range top down, so that by the time they get to the 600, you get loads of tech from the 700 Series and higher

If I pair the 606 S3 with the Marantz Cinema 50 in stereo mode that's 110W, will that be considered audiophile grade? Or should I get a separate dedicated amp?

Enjoyed my 606 S2 but the treble was too bright, nuances aside would you say the 606 S3 has more bass capability?
