I feel the need to talk about this now. if you feel like you are getting stalked there are a few things you should do other then just lock your doors and windows because those can be compromised relatively easily in most cases. one step is to get either a weapon or a dog. just it barking is enough to give you an edge but a bite work dog is the best in my opinion but it takes a lot of work to do it safely. as for weapons I like bear spray as a general rule because it would be rare that an attacker would be wearing a gas mask and it has a decent range of incapacitation. make sure you always check your back seat and trunk when you head to your car and know your local emergency numbers. if you are actively being stalked you might consider talking to the police in the area and explain what is going on though I have seen that backfire on a few people so I would be cautious.
