@JONYAG07 That's your misconception - The idea that stats determine good players... It's false. Proof? Look up rivaLCartel's stats - He's the leader of one of the best Battlefield 3 teams in the world and based on your logic he wouldn't be considered a pro either.
Point being, while stats can give you limited information on how you use your weapons. What they don't tell you is how well of a team player you are or how good you communicate with your team

@JONYAG07 I've played with and against people with amazing stats... and you know what I've found? In most cases they're either very stationary players, never where the objectives are at, and have horrible teamwork capabilities. They are usually the last person to depend on if you need to be repaired or revived.
I'm an aggressive/objective player and in return will be producing stats that differ from someone who's more on the defense.
@martt1 I demonstrate that in my gameplay/commentaries. Montages are simply highlights from either particular games or just in general when playing. They are not meant to show drawn out battles. There's an audience for everything for those who enjoy montages will watch them those who don't will watch other videos.
I'm surprised these aggressive recon vids don't get more views, they are amazing.

I make alot of scoped shots with this rifle and these attachments, but I don't get how he makes so many no scopes, even with the laser site.. is this just a montage of the ones he does get and he actually does miss as much as real people or is he actually some sort of Recon Jedi? I hope its the second option I think
Why does your text that shows squad mates, your kills at the bottom, and the killfeed at the top right look slightly different. I havnt played bf3 in a while, is that an update or did u tweak it somehow?
@lolingdevil He plays ARMA bro. That game is way more realistic than BF because BF isn't supposed to be realistic. It's supposed to be stylized realism which is for most people more fun than pure realism. I don't know any FPS gamer who would want to sit in a bunker for 4 days while they're suppressed or die and not be able to play the game again. Just stop with all the realism bullshit. Neither COD or BF is supposed to be realistic. You want realism? Play ARMA or Flashpoint.
@cypryss1 I agree that the Recon should have gotten C4. But the bolt action rifles should never, ever OHK in Normal Mode. That shit was just anti-Battlefield in BC2. You always needed a headshot for OHK in all previous BF titles except for BC2. BC2 is not a core Battlefield title, and its mechanics should be seen as something seperate.
haha no problem man, happens to the best of us. if you go to the server browser and go to filter (click down the left or right stick, im not sure which one) and you can select tons of things for selecting matches and there Preset, with normal hardcore and inflantry.
@cypryss1 If you are a 1942-BF3 vet, then you know that the Recon (or sniper as it was called), is much more like it was in BF2. In other words, it's fine now. BC2 wasn't a core Battlefield title, and whatever mechanics were in that game, do not and should not be in Battlefield 3.
@tmright18 he plays rush, bro. most competitive players do. conquest is too easy. i never said he was awesome. but you're saying he's a scrub, which isn't true either. just because he doesn't play assault 24/7 doesn't mean he's terrible at battlefield, lol
I have a question. in BFBC2 I shoot without aiming, 5 to 20 meters without aim, but I shoot in BF3 to 5 meters and i do not hit.which distace i need to aim in the target and which i don't need?sorry for my English.

Calling him your mentor is inaccurate, that would imply him teaching you his techniques directly. Calling him your "inspiration" or something similar to that is far more accurate.
He seems to be getting a huge amount of body shots and killing with one shot with em...
that's either just a huge amount of luck or he's playing on a weird-ass hardcore server ._.
Now do it without being on hardcore, where you have to actually hit people in the head to get a kill rather than a game of instagib. Still, it was a good video, good job!
@WButterTBWButter Not true, all of the bolt-action snipers except for the M98B deal 75 damage UP CLOSE. Go to symthic(dot) com...The only difference is the reload time.

The L96 is by far the best aggressive sniper rifle in BF3 IMO,

I was confused with your comments with Hardcore and softcore until i realized u guys were talking about the game and not Porn.
Most ppl talking shitting about CoD and BF, bought both games, lol, just buy what you like, dont want a game? dont complain about it, no one forces you to buy it.
sgt. enigma, what server do you play on ? i mean, i can't find a good server that plays kharg island or the other noshahr canals with hardcore only :(
@tmright18 and regardless, he's a commentator and he plays for fun. 100 hours of gameplay is hardly anything compared to most "good" battlefield players.

The lazer dot on it is out of target:| It get's confusing sometimes so I recommend another Rifle until it's fixed!
@cypryss1 Frags rounds are only OHK with the pump shotties.
People should just realise that Recon != Sniper, and all would be fine.
must be some hack, even with my old trusty M98 have problems having one shot kills without hitting the head
@MegaProRacer He is in hardcore and in my opinion its really cheesy to make a hardcore montage with a bolt action sniper rifle.
true dat, still OP in my experience of this patch, could do with a a tad less accuracy and maybe a slightly lower ROF...

i remember first time seeing this. it gave me a really special feeling inside, and i know that it is just a video of a game, but it really did. i only played bf on my xbox, and it is impossible to play like this on a console. a few months later, i got a really god pc that could play battlefield. the first thing thing i did was to unlock all the snipers.
now i have over 10000 kills with every bolt acitopn, and atleast 60 % accuracy.

hey enigma, might be a dumb question, but i noticed it significantly harder to snipe aircraft pilots/gunners on console than it is on PC. i've seen many snipe PC vids but very few Console shots. i know how to snipe (refer to my battlelog if you need: DoG Azrael) but hitting a death shot is damn near impossible. wondering if you or your contacts knew anything about this difference in system.
While you can't compare the gameplay type, you can compare how the company treats the players. Sure, DICE takes 3 months to fix something, but InfinityWard/Activision never fixes anything, as shown with the use of "noob tubes".
IW/Activision also decides to release a new game every year or so, leeching money out of players since the "new game" usually amounts to the same game with a different single player campaign with, oh, maybe a new gun; a "new game" that should be an expansion pack.
That's not what I mean. BF3 actually has a balance in weapons. There's never a reason on not using other weapons. But in CoD in the other hand if you wanna do good all you have to do is put type 95 with fmg 9's. There is no overpowered gun in battlefield 3, it is all balanced, even the USAS its got ridiculus recoil. the M26 dart is a glitch that they will soon fix. As you can see DiC3 actually listens to their fans and fix things that need to be fixed.
@JacksonWRXTX i cant record but i have gotten a 14 killstreak in hc tdm with the l96...its not very hard all you need is to have a decent reaction time and play on a good server were you have good ping now i have a challenge tough... i need to get 100 kills with the m98b...while uing the following attachments: suppressor, acog and flashlight (it makes no sense at all i know) and i am not allowed to do it in hardcore..so far ive only managed to get 20 kills in total with that setup XD
@pwnageness thats not true, the sv98 deals less damage than the m40 up close and i watched a video guide of a commentator called chris spooner and he told me that the l96 has more range than the m40 and faster bullets, meaning it has less bullet drop. i only need 3 more knifes and 25 spot assists or whatever they are called and i have it, so lets see which one is really better. i think there is a reason why sgt enigma uses the l96, not the m40
My day as a list:
1) Sleep through class and wake up at 2:30pm cuz i was tired from playing BF3 till 5am.
2) 3:00pm, start playing BF3 again prior to starting the 1 of the 5 assignments I have due in he next week.
3) totally choke cuz BF3 is so awesome and somehow game all day until 1AM.
4)Finally eat some food while siting in front of my comp.
5) Find this video on my YT homepage.
6)Video is TOO good. Sarge is too sexy.
7)Decide the L96 is also too sexy to not have unlocked yet.

Well... Okay i was play Canals on conquest Seems normal right? But... When i spawned on my team mate he was just sitting at the control cabin on the ship about 2000Meters away from the enemy doing nothing, How can you shoot people at 2000Meters bullet drop is too much, It's just not a very team playing won't you agree?
I will mention one thing. Those who think a player with high stats and are lone wolf aggressors, shouldn't be, that's like telling a spider to stop eating flys. They eliminate the threat so that "team players" can actually complete the objective. They may showboat a bit. But who cares? Just be glad your not on the business end of their weapons.

its depends on your range and the enemies current health. there is a few shots he makes that wouldn't be a OHK if the player for sure had full health. However out to 30 meters (i believe) its a OHK anyways. one thing to point out though is all the longer shots are almost always a headshot.
@JacksonWRXTX yeah but the best way to play good using recon is to play exactly the way you are comfortable playing. and the setup were im trying to get kills with non hc ive given up LOL now im gonna try to figure out a new crazy setup to fail miserably with XD
@MrJokerNick i actually felt bad. cod is nothing like bf3 to me. and i don't think any fps has a dash of realism to it. unless you have to clean your gun in between games, buy a new console / create a new account every time you die, etc. which would really suck.
@Robin11567 It means that in hardcoremode everyone has 60% health, while in softcore everyone has 100% health. This means that in hardcore you don't have to get a headshot with a sniper to kill with 1 shot as it is in softcore. Meaning that it's easier to kill with a sinper rifle in hardcore.
@TURTLEDUDE919 ....what? You realize that just because you can aim better, that means everyone else can aim better too, right? It really isn't easier at all, in fact with more people on each team, you're going to lose even more...unless your W/L is already under 1
@RetroandNew only some of the gameplay is in hardcore, you can tell by the health meter in some of the clips
Look at the minimap and the health percentage. It's set to 60%, so it likely means Hardcore but with options turned on.
Hardcore makes it a bit easier to be a Recon in this game, but I take nothing away from Enigma - he is a beast at sniping.
Wow guys, this video is uploaded in january, this is obviously BEFORE the patch of the 1 hit kill in the chest within 15 meters. This were custom server settings where you DO have a crosshair and ammo count, but the damage model of hardcore.
I like his tactic better. I use semi-auto snipers for it though. I go and kill people from all ranges, while spotting enemies for allies, and then I capture/defuse/arm the objective. It's very fun, alot more fun than sitting at the back of the map IMO.
this reminds me of my friend saying m40a5 is the best but i told him if its the best go win the round for all of us. he said 1 person cant win the round for all of us and i said yes it can happen. well i think i found proof of that
Look at the bottom right guys, it shows a solid 60 Percent health. This is hardcore mode just shows HP and Ammo. His health stays at 60% never goes higher at certain clips, its 1 shot kill with a bolt action usually to the body in hardcore
@MrUberSpanky i used to be a cod player but now i evolved into a bf player about a month ago and i'm pretty good at getting used to weapons, but sniper rifles i was never good at in cod so when i get i sniper rifle on bf i get used to it straight away :P
I noticed you swapped out the laser attachment for a flashlight, for a part of the video.
Do you consider the laser the dominant attachment for the slot? Was it map specific, or do you generally run any one attachment most of the time?
@1338Hunter what about the other kills that werent no scopes? you have to take those into consideration to!
hardcore mode? lol... i do 38-2 at siene crossing with M98B, 40% of my kills were headshots and the other 60% i shot a soldier that has been injured and some of them i shot them 2 time to get them kiss the ground
@Kaleziz completely agree noshaar canals usually has alota players with shotguns, you never survive running around with a sniper rifle like that, and probably the entire server is made up of blind grannies
@TubeXoXo0O Im a Hardcore PC gamer, and play BF3 on pc, and yes it does require some skill to do all this, but I must say, its harder on console then pc, but dont get me wrong, this is sick! if you can play like this on PC.
@TheNiceguy1212 duno.. you can change fire mode with weapons that have the option by pressing V, assault rifles and sub machine guns can either fire full auto or 1 round at a time, assume its the same for g18
@RafaelTheSniper13es hmm I just put it to 720p and bigger screen and saw it shows 60hp. but then this would mean it is not real hardcore if you can see the ammo and hp. so some custome settings unranked server?
@NONAMEWTF @hansschmied94 your both forgetting its a lot easier too die too in hardcore. post this standard of gameplay in softcore then you have the right too judge on what game type he should be playing.
@narupiv if he drew a dot on his screen it would do no good. in soft-core, the aim reticules are basically in different sides of the screen. its like the trickshotters in COD, i guess they have dots on their screens too.
@sfedf1 Hardcore doesn't have 3D spotting, noscope crosshairs, or the HUD, but for the second half of the video, both are on.
His HP never moves past 60%, though, so I'm guessing it's some kind of custom server.
cmon sarge play rush..conquest...i mean i love ur agressive recon gameplay(its fuckin inspiring in bc2)...but in bf3 agressive recon its just not the same....i wanna see some badass non-hardcore rush\conquest gameplay...please!
this video lack of commentary, why u choose this weapon. i do quite same with sniper rifles, but L96 is slowest rifle, the reason it's used is fire supressor, which supresses the light from optics, it's best for camping
i dont get why some people think that agressive sniping shouldnt be done in bf3 and instead should be done in cod even when it is more impressive when its done in bf3 because it takes alot more skill to snipe
for me this is evidence that bf3 can be played as a cod game. it upsets me but isn't the players fault
There is a theory going around or "rumor" that the last DLC End Game involves Dinosaurs. I don't know if it's true or not or if it's been declined. Check out LAGxPeanutPwner's video on it.
@BiveZz01 nope.. I guess u only play hardcore, in normal mode, not even the M98 has a 100% damage, it has a 95% damage at close range, not making it a 1 shot kill if he has all of his health..

My best score on ps3 is 88-14 :s with sniper and co-op handgun only rushing around i spawn killed too like 17killstreak and they all got panic where are him? Rigth behind you ! "Knife"
lol yeah me too, i thought only flecchete shotgun rounds can do that but maybe the sniper bullet is sharp enough to go through it since sniper bullet was the sharpest + high velocity

you clearly never used an aimbot, i have.
Its up to the user, if hes clerevr enough to press the lock/aim button shortly before moving over the target its nearly impossible to notice it.
@satanicrawrofdoom you can tell by seeing if theres a health/ammo indicator on the hud in the bottom right corner, hes in hardcore for the majority of the clips but some are normal
@tyvek05 its not realy im a quite good bf3 sniper and buddy his noscopes are to perfect man to many headshot no scopes in this video it may not be an aimbot but it certianly looks that way

@TheColmODonnell why COD? Bf3 has bullet drop so it takes more skill. BUT I do think he will probably get over 30 kills, and I like COD too, so dont start making a big argument.
Easy to get kills with precision with PC.... That's why I left for FPS games.... RTS and OTHERS PC
who the fuck says that quick-scope is better than no-scope, for the cod fanboys on consoles it takes NO skill to quick-scope when the aim-assist plays more than u yourself
aggressive recon was the shit in bfbc2, doing stuff like this wasn't unheard of. of course he's a lot better than me. but 4x on the magnum or m24 was a very effective class

The latest patch increased the damage of sniper rifles in CQC. Upper torso is a OHK for most rifles. Some of these are hardcore, others core. Not entirely unbelievable.
(Not tryin to hate)He plays hardcore in alot of his clips. Which really takes no skill to snipe in. You can never fined a decent non-hardcore montage on youtube anymore.
@NONAMEWTF thanks, but REALLY? if he did this in regular mode, it would be harder and cooler, I agree, but you get a half-decent montage using agressive recon on "softcore."

sure, because aggressive recon like this requires no skill (this is how i play sometimes), but sitting on a hill pressing the spot button requires TONS of skill
The point of comparison is showing how things that have nothing to do with each other are different. If you can't compare different things, what can you compare?
