In islam truth is what matters not majority, thats why in a hadith it came the ahlus sunnah wal jama'a is one branch that will be saved from hellfire and they are 72 sects all in hellfire. And at the end if time if you are one person clinging to the w quran and sunnah then you are the jama'a (congregation) subhanallah

Yeah some people know something they also read some surah of the holyQuran more often maybe that surah give more reward if they read it
If a surah is recited regular at a day or time then that probably means its a sunnah, if it's not from the sunnah then it's a misguidance and an innovation, and one should learn the sunnah. For example on Friday fajr, the sunnah is to recite surah sajda in first rakat and surah insaan in second. There are two authentic hadiths regarding this and the prophet not even a single fajr on friday did he leave it. Another ex. On juma prayer reading surah a'la in first and surah ghashiyah in second. Likewise eid the same and another sunnah which is not so common surah qaf and surah qamar if I'm right.
And there three places authentically from the sunnah to recite surah kafiroon in the first rakat and surah ikhlaas in the second by the individual in volantary prayers.
1-fajr sunnah
2-maghrib sunnah
3-sunnah of tawaaf upon finishing seven rounds around the kabah in masjid haram makkah.
And in witr the first rakat to recite is surah a'la and second kafiroon and third ikhlaas. And if you want to make witr separate 2 and then 1 separately as that is also from the sunnah then your surah will be read the in same order as above.

@@khaliifshiikh2289 the Prophet (SAW) didn't do dua in congregation after every salat if you see someone insisting on that it's bidah
@@khaliifshiikh2289 if you do it as a once off becuz smth happened no problem but if you do it regularly that means you making it a sunnah when it's not, hence not permissible

Guys, the masjids here do always make dua in congregation after salah. What should I do? Can I then just make my own dua in myself without replying with Amin to the dua of the imam?
Dua in congregation is not proven by sunnah.
