Im down to give wallace a shot at RIGHT tackle and maybe strange at center, but if we take wr1 with the first, second pick has gotta be a monster keft guard. I say use that 130 million on the edge, cornerback 2, free safety(if peppers is gone) and maybe if a nose tackle is available. Ialso think defensively, unless we have a true nose tackle, we dont have the personal for a three man front. Either switch to a 4 front with godchaux as the one, barmore as the three, white as sde and maybe iennings or whoever in the draft and wde. If they want a three man front, gotta go big nose
Lowe is a swing Tackle at best. But he is the only one functional this season. I don't believe he is a franchise LT, but this class is not that good. I think NE should go fill that need in FA. Maybe putting Lowe as a RT would be even better for him.
I think lowe would do better with a monster at left guard, not a all pro left tackle but he is improving and your right alot of those tackles are maybes. I'm down giving Wallace a shot at RIGHT tackle and strange at center(love Andrews but he looked tired). Alot of the fa left tackles are 30+ and I'd rather fix it right then bandaid it and hope for the best. I say use that 130 mil to improve the pass rush, free safety and cornerback 2, not a GM just my honest opinion

Either way I'm willing to give lowe a shot with a good left guard and Wallace a shot with onwenu and if we absolutely fall in love with strange at center, then we role there, no matter what we can't bandaid this thing together like we have, I think Kraft needs to realize Dante is gone and it will be very rare to take a fifth or sixth round draft pick and he turns into a pro bowl lineman, we gotta put more effort in the oline
@@kylerush7948 Respect. FWIW, Scott Peters has been doing a sneaky amazing job for us this season. Scar is a fan of his, and Peters is known and respected in the OL coaching community and comes from the Callahan OL coaching tree. So while we can't point to 30+ years of success running the OL room, Peters may be one of the best coaching hires by Mayo this year. We might find some surprising OL successes at the tail end of future drafts although off-season 2025 probably isn't the right time to run that experiment.

I think all the money should go on offense bc od the lack of experience that is costing a lot, specially with the receivers and we should focus the draft on D#.
Fill the LT need during FA and go for there. Johnson, Tet, Carter and Mykel should be prime targets with our first pick. After that fill with BPA as needed. Hopefully we take at RB this draft. Stevenson been annoying me lately by not hitting the hole when he is not getting hit in the back field.

Yea... my approach was more about draft best available at positions of need. The second draft has two EDGE rushers. I went heavy OL in both because of the need for both talent and depth. The extra WRs are for making up for missing the expected loss of Osborn and potential miss on Polk.
David Andrews was talking about retirement last offseason. Will he be back next season? Jake Andrews hasn't played, Sow hasn't been playing that good, will Cole be any good having not played in nearly 2 years, None of the tackles are playing good. Other than Owenu, they might need an entire offensive line.
@ I see what you saying, but you got it backwards a little bit onwenu hasn’t been playing tackle he’s been at guard in the middle we got onwenu,layden,sow,and Jordan that’s not bad at center u got Ben brown,strange(hes gonna get moved) ,and Jake then your tackles in Jacobs and Lowe aren’t bad they actually pretty good think u need one of them to b a solid rotation price but if we can manage to get one decent tackle in free agency we’re OK on the line. There’s no reasons to be going and drafting two ot within the first two pics maybe even three when we need a X receiver we need another pure edge badly We need another cb, probably need another linebacker could use another dt even though they started coming into their own and Barrmore back my whole point is oline isn’t as bad as everyone making it seem

I'm not high on most of the FA tackles... but I would love to get Abdul Carter in the first if he Lowe holds up and they can grab a solid FA WR.
