Thanks mate. Ohh tonight? I was waiting for it to come up yesterday. I guess England/Scotland would limit viewers, hence mowed on day 😀

Good video thanks.... Did you keep them very dry in winter or did you keep them damp? I am in South Africa in summer rain area with hot temperatures and winter very dry but warm days and cold nights in winter.
I have Bletilla striata bulbs but don't know how to care for them in winter. Your advice is appreciated.

This video is quite old and I have grown them several years now. When I had limited overwintering space I took the bulbs out, dried them for a few days and stored in almost dry peat moss at constant 5c. Sometimes one or two rotted. Now when I have more space I just put the whole pot in there. When roots is not disturbed it seems like they can handle slightly more moist. But in your area I would think planting them in the ground and leave them there would work. Summer heat may be a problem, so go for a 3/4 shaded spot. At my location full sun and heavy fertilize has shown to be best by trials. But again, I think sun is too strong at your location. Nowadays I have Bletillas growing in the ground in very sandy soil at my summer house down south where winter is mild for sweden, seldom colder than -10. They have survived for 3 years now, but never flowered.
