I like the scriptures you put before and after your videos. They aren't just random verses, you pick one that are encouraging and can help in a Christian's life course.
You are simply the best discoverer since Lewis & Clark. Historians will devour your videos with delight. (But don't let it go to your head; stay sweet & charming.) You are one of a kind. I love the scriptures you post. Have fun and stay safe! God Bless YOU!!!
Just amazing what you come across Nugget , one day when your old and grey your going to be filled with tons of knowledge and wisdom , thank you for sharing all of these incredible finds .
Michael I love your videos. I have been watching the ones from 2010 too. I absolutely love your dad as the cameraman. (No beer cans here) Your drive as a kid was wonderful. You would dig a hole as big as you to get the target. Keep up that drive in all you do. You are adorable.
nugget, you has the best metal detecting videos on you tube ,I've watched many of them and I have to blame you for me getting into the hobby...lol..to be honest I've wanted to metal detect for years and your videos just gave me the push I needed ,God bless
What a relaxing video Michael, I love all your videos but I think the river ones are my favourites as the sound of the water is lovely to me. Take care, good luck and happy hunting Mary Ellen UK
thank you Nugg! enjoyed sitting back with my Dinner and watching ya... if you get the time..let us know about that old road bed or bridge you found. ..that was some hard work some people did long ago...and it was interesting. .thank ya now..May God Be With You and keep you safe Nugg.
That was my favorite hunt, because of the relics. Amazing finds washed out of the mud! Seeing the structures trips the imagination into the “ I wonder if...” mode of thinking. Civil war uses. Pre civil war commerce, who knows? Great vid! Thanks
Love your vids and wow the old wooden structure you found was interesting. The amount of lead tho, wow! Keepem comin! God bless you and keep you safe on your adventures!
Ask your friend, AquaChigger, he knows what that structure is. He's found these before. Great video, Nugget! Yes, you're right, it is an old crossing for wagons and horses. Really cool find, son!
lizzymoore54 I was gonna say the same thing. As a matter of fact, the fish trap and ferry crossing looks exactly like the ones Aquachigger found. I think it's even the same river.
Cody Sutton, maybe but the horse shoe Nugget found made me think it was a crossing. The Chig has found these crossings also but it did seem to have a pontoon aspect also because of the rock with the hole in it. Could have been both but a cool find by Nugget, any way we cut it. Sure do like this youngin'. Fine young man, that's something I'm sure we can all agree on!😊
While i was in Va, they had similar finds near the water inlets. when i saw chiggs find his some time back, i knew he'd find horse n mule shoes, which he did. the dif of horse n mule shoes? hmmm, well when i was in Nv, i actually helped a ferrer that came to a stable i helped at, volunteer stuff plus much more... great education.. i helped him n noticed they were wider n more rounded vs U shaped. makin it better to keep stable on. next time you see these shoes, see if thast look more U or closer to an open ended O. like humans tho, they hv their own prints.
Really enjoyed your fascination with the old structures or whatever. Happy you take time to let us see them in detail. A fine extra to detecting metal.
I own that very make of video camera. It works great for what I use it for. Supposed to be water proof up to three feet. Another cool video. Thanks. God Bless.
Looked like a productive excursion. Some nice discoveries (camera, candle holder, spike from the log structure. Enjoyed the adventure. Thanks for sharing and the very best of luck with your next exploration.
Hey man! We love your video's. We just started with magnet fishing and already did some very cool finds. We specifically searching for war2 related stuff, it's insane what you can find in the water! Keep it up going like this! Greetz Dutch WW2 MagnetHunters.
"Happy Holliday's" to You & your family & friends & your special 1 in your life! Good luck as always, thanks for your hard work doing these videos & Good blessed you for next year's 2018 too!! Maria Perez
i hope you grabbed the wood with the holes, great history plus a center piece for a table or windoe sill, put some candles in glass that fit the holes, mini vases or sealed plants. or just up on the wall or fireplace
I absolutely love watching your videos..I have watched almost all your videos!!! I can’t wait to get one of your nuggetnoggin shirts...even my little girl wants one !!
Perhaps your logs with holes was a raft and the rock with hole was their anchor. Just a thought. The logs coming out of the bank in the first part of your video looks like an old corduroy road for a ferry. Love the vid! Keep'em coming and God bless!!
Interesting video, Nugget. I found those wooden poles to be intriguing. If it were a bridge it would have had to be a very long one. Seems unlikely. Perhaps the remnants of a raft to cross the river.
Local historical societies are great resources for identifying persons, places and things from the past. A lot of them are accessible by their websites and Facebook.
"Fish weir". I saw one of those on a show on Netflix called "Filthy Riches". The guy is somewhere in the more rural area of New York State. He catches eel when they migrate and then smokes them and sells them in his store. Pretty neat to see one of those in action!
Hey Mike... I think that weird looking rock is either a boat or a raft anchor. I have seen those before. If there was a Ferry there at one time. It’s probably was used for that.

You are awesome and a greater inspiration to those who love this HOBBY. KEEP GETTING DIRTY
The rock with the hole in it is Fred Flintstone's door to his car. Thanks Nugget awesome video God bless you.

The chigg knows they layed the trees side by side so the wagon could roll in to the river and not get stuck in the mudd..and cross the river...

I enjoy your videos. You had some really interesting finds in this hunt.

Nice variety of recoveries. If you find out what that wooden structure was I would like to know. Thanks for sharing. Have a Blessed Day.
@ 4:20 it is a Stone age car door! LOL 😂🙌😜👊👊👊
Sterling silver wins the day, but the archeology; fish trap and bridge/dock works priceless.
Keep up the Good Work!! : ) , Thumbs up Indiana USA.
Always love seeing you find stuff
Great hunt I wish more people would take the trash out as well 🐟
I always want to pause these videos... don't want them to end.
That board at 1:49 looks like the plank they found in the swamp on "The Curse of Oak Island"!
Just Kidding, great finds Michael!
M
Cool hunt, I would have taken that rock home. Silver pen, Wow
Great video. Thanks for sharing

I really like your videos. You are a good story teller and narrator.
Looks like an awesome day.
Always good to go on an adventure with you!
I could teach you a whole new world on what you are actually exposing to the words view and understanding. 👍
I like those sun glasses you started the video off with!
What a nice and quiet place without people staring or planning to steal you.
I own that very make of video camera. It works great for what I use it for. Supposed to be water proof up to three feet.
Another cool video. Thanks. God Bless.

He is so charming and sincere.
Katie Bee he really is and I love love love how at the end of every video he says God bless!!
Audrey Blackburn he is better than anything on TV!
I definitely agree 100%!!
Love your videos, you need to come to south alabama, we have some NICE creeks and a lot of old home sites, many have never been dug!
Lots of lead. Must be a good trout river. I heard you mention arrow heads. That's my favorite thing to collect. Got a couple of nice ones myself.
Nuggetnoggin ever think of doung a luve video . by the way great video and God bless
That looks like an old vine/rope bridge.I found one when I was a kid in Western Pensavania 35 yrs ago.
Great adventure! Nice finds.
Perhaps your logs with holes was a raft and the rock with hole was their anchor. Just a thought. The logs coming out of the bank in the first part of your video looks like an old corduroy road for a ferry. Love the vid! Keep'em coming and God bless!!
Looks like you have found a anchor rock . I’d go look in the woods like your videos thanks.
The wood structure could be a fish weir. A lot of the lead weights remind me of net weights that we used when I was a kid.
Interesting video, Nugget. I found those wooden poles to be intriguing. If it were a bridge it would have had to be a very long one. Seems unlikely. Perhaps the remnants of a raft to cross the river.
Interesting wooden structure
god bless you to nuggetnoggin
Thanks for taking all that LEAD out of river.
Local historical societies are great resources for identifying persons, places and things from the past. A lot of them are accessible by their websites and Facebook.
The wood cribbing is the site of an old river ford. made it easier to get wagons up and down the bank.
Hey nugget ! Could have been a bridge for up river . In more norrow spot !!!! Great video as always !! Believe in God always !! 😊✝✝✝
Did you know that horse shoes are good luck? You have probably found one before because you are very lucky to have found ALL the stuff you've found.😊
Same camera I use Mike. Great vid man.
Be well,
Al-Fu
your candle holder is cool I thought it was a little bell
Aquachigger would know about those logs. He has video of similar findings. Wonder if it was the same area? Great vid. I DIG WHAT WE DO!
Cool! Like! greetings from Ukraine
Great video again
at 4:25 that is an Indian Ballast stone. very cool find you should keep it.
these video keep me satifised
i love your video's so much
It’s beautiful
I think that piece of rock with the handle is the door from Fred Flintstones automobile! well found!
Is a privilege & blessing to be out there on the river in God's Own Kingdom...!
Awesome video
"Fish weir". I saw one of those on a show on Netflix called "Filthy Riches". The guy is somewhere in the more rural area of New York State. He catches eel when they migrate and then smokes them and sells them in his store. Pretty neat to see one of those in action!

Awesome
You need to ask aquachigger he's got videos with that type structure in them.
