46A is far and away my all time favorite Cat machine! They ooze AMERICA! Love the sweeps and guarding! I am not an operator just a machine nerd and you have some great tools! I live in Ca and all the good old iron is gone. Cheers from Santa Cruz Ca

I guy i worked for had a HD21c Fiat Allis with a cat winch fitted to operate a Bristand cable scraper it was a great dozer at the time with a piece of antique crap behind it wearing the track gear and drive on the dozer
Let me pass on a little knowledge that a old grade superintendent told me once. It takes as long to put that last 2 yards in there than it did the whole load, so when it's full go on.

That is a really good looking D8H. Looks like it’s been well cared for and maintained. Love those old dozers.

That D8H and the D6C was by far the two best dozers CAT has ever made. I can't leave out the D9H either.
