I am still working to wrap my head around “impact” of the nonprofit. I’m beginning to realize there are the specific changes in behavior by the recipient, and the benefit to society by these behavioral changes. Anyway, I’m taking NonProfit Fundraising next semester, so I’m sure I’ll have to write a message for homework!
Definitely - in fact, impact is the thing someone should consider before anything else when starting or growing a nonprofit! Unlike business, a nonprofit's top goal IS impact (vs dollars).
Of course this message is perfect timing! Any advice for tailoring a message specifically for giving Tuesday? (We also have a crowdfunding campaign coming up in December.) Thanks Amber!
I'm so happy to hear it Laya! For Giving Tuesday you'll want to think about standing out from the crowd - is there something you could do that would be different from others? For example, some are suggesting NOT asking for money that day but instead showing gratitude - then asking for funds a different day.
Hi Amber, I’m looking to start a global nonprofit dealing with removing or harvesting greenhouse gasses from the upper atmosphere with an invention I’ve created. This is a weird nonprofit service and would like to know what you would do?
There are nonprofits who approach things in this way, sure! I think the question is more what level of autonomy do you need; with a nonprofit you'll be reporting to a board of directors. You could also start a business that has a social impact purpose.
Can you suggest where to request a a small grant for the victims of super typhoon in philippines particularly my area? Can we ask for the list thank you

I am organizing a fundraiser for our Community skatepark project. We did a bidding Owl Auction last year.Bidding Owl online auction works well.
Auctions can be great!
