Bonjour, J'amplifie ces infinity kappa 9.2i series 2 avec un ampli de puissance apollon audio classe D hypex nc1200sl (double mono) 700w 4 ohms and 1200w 2 ohms le tout est délivré avec un facteur d'amortissement très elevé). le résultat est époustouflant (surement un nc800sl peut déjà suffir mais qui peut le moins peut le plus non :). J'utilise le mode étendu (extended bass). Les meilleurs mesures des amplis nouvelles générations sont chez hypex ncore et purify en classe d bien meilleur au niveau mesure que les classe a ou classe ab haut de gamme (voir les tests chez audiosciencereview). je vous conseille un bon dac et preampli derrière et le résultat sera magique. Danke fürs Angebot, ich bin mit den RS3Bs erstmal mehr als zufrieden - jetzt gehts dran, den passenden Verstärker zu finden und einen Streamer anzuschaffen. Hoffe trotzdem den einen oder anderen Kontakt zu knüpfen, um mal ein paar andere Infinity Lautsprecher hören zu können. Gruß, Martin
I had the old seroes I kappa 9, didn't care much for them. The 0.8ohm dip is just retarded and unnecessary. The kappa 8.1 was alot better than even my older k9 and k8 ! Never felt i had to "upgrade" to a 9 again .. Cary Christie did well on them, they sound a heck of lot better than the old kappas. Easier to drive too .

Lots of hard surfaces with no room treatments. Acoustic diffusion and absorption is about as important as the speaker.

I used to amplify them with the famous Threshold couple: pre NS10 + ampli 400A (100w Class A). All you need!!!
