    Thanks for the video. I'm glad to see you doing these again. I hope Eduardo can do some videos. He did a good job too.
    I've been trying to build a test medium for stabbing things. I haven't been successful so far.
    None of these are exactly my style. As I've said many times on KarateMart, I'm not a fan of putting my fingers into those holes. I worry that the wrong strike is going to break fingers. I'm also not a fan of knives with too many springs or moving parts. Even so, each has some nice features.
    The Compact Brass Spiked Knuckles are obviously appealing because they are so compact. You didn't try the swiping punch that you sometimes demonstrate with knuckles, but I think these would deliver that punch very well. While much of the appeal of knuckles is that a good punch will deliver the force through the heavier bones of the wrist without putting so much stress on the smaller bones of the hands and knuckles, part of the appeal of knuckles is that the hard surface will cause cuts. In some ways, that could be advantageous. Cutting an attacker's forehead without delivering the kind of percussion that leads to brain damage might be enough to stop an attack with a lower risk of permanent injury. Whether the world would be a better place with some people permanently injured could be a different discussion, but the idea of getting out of situation without really hurting someone is always going to have appeal. Holding the spike in an ice pick grip will give more power, but holding the spike in a forward grip might make fast, jabbing strikes easier. Either way, the spike could be useful in getting out of a situation. The spike might also be more comfortable if one needed to push a bunch of thumbtacks into a wall.
    The Rugged Tactical Karambit is a nice-looking knife. Because the blade doesn't have the inward curve that many karambits have, using the knife might be simpler. I've avoided karambits because they seem to depend on a great deal of specialized training to make best use of the curve. This knife could be a cool choice for utilitarian purposes. I could see this knife being useful for a many things for a long time.
    The Silver Bullet OTF Knife looks familiar. I think Ian has demonstrated this knife on the KarateMart.com channel. The bullet portion of the handle could have value as a focused impact tool. I'm not entirely taken by the looks overall, but I can see the appeal to some segments of the market. The blade itself is beautiful.

      You made some excellent observations as usual, my friend! As for “swiping” with the knuckle duster, without the palm grip and with the way they are curved, they can’t be used for swiping like other knuckle dusters, but I probably should have shown that on video. I was a bit nervous doing my first one in a while, so I missed some things. Have an awesome week, my friend!

    Good to see you again, Kyle, been a while. I bought the Solid Aluminum Tire Thumper a few months ago, I love it. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it, so that's good. If I had to choose from this list, I think I'd go with the Brass Spike.

    Dude this show is awesome 👌 I'd love for you to talk more about those lovely weapons on the wall behind you, I keep pausing to try to get better looks at them 😂 I mean that cleaver with the knuckle duster on your left looks terrifying 😮😅😅

      Thanks Simon! It’s funny you mention that! Almost all of those weapons hanging on the wall are ones I tested on the KarateMart UA-cam channel that could not be resold after testing them on film. If you go to the KarateMart UA-cam channel, you’ll see a video from December of 2022 where I tested that cleaver. Thanks so much for all your support! It means a lot to me!

    I live in NYC and pretty much everything you presented is illegal to carry about. Though I did like that compact Brass-Knuckles. I would carry those despite their (il-)legal status. Could they be made with stainless steel? Lighter than Brass and more durable. Now I'm wondering how good is a Brass(Steel)-Knuckle against an attacker with a knife.

      @kombativ_com  Місяць тому

      That’s a great question! They could be made in steel. As far as its effectiveness against a knife attack would depend on the skill level of each individual, but they are a very effective weapon in the right hands.

      Hahaha! It took me a second to figure out what you meant! Because I’m making videos for the Kombativ channel instead of the KarateMart channel! I’m so glad you joined this channel! It’s nice to see a familiar face (screen name)! Thank you, my friend!
