Yardworks Reel Mower Battery Repair

Don't want to pay $100 for a new battery module from the store? The 24v module contains two 12v 10ah standard sealed lead-acid batteries. Find them on ebay. Just search "12v battery 10ah". I found a pair for $55 delivered from Florida. You may have to replace a corroded terminal but that's about it. Just pull off the screws on the bottom and two on the top. You'll need needle nose pliers to hold the nut on the bottom of the screws that fasten the terminals to the battery. Likely they screwed them down as the mower has a lot of vibration while running.

I have one of these mowers with a dead battery pack, and Canadian Tire no longer sells them. I was just going to toss it but this repair method might give it a couple more years of life! Thanks!

Thank you this was very helpful and now i don't have to send the battery away to let someone else charge me over $100 to fix. Just looked it up on Amazon and same, 3 batteries for under $100.
