  • **Please note, I no longer use and cannot recommend Dixie Belle Paint products due to highly questionable business practices, contract violations, and unethical treatment of artists and retailers that led to mine and numerous others resignations in late 2021. Please see the links below for more information. I have chosen to leave this video content up for learning purposes only, but highly recommend considering other products when trying to achieve these same techniques. There are too many good product brands on the market to support a brand with these practices. I've included links to my most used options below

    Apricot looks like Rose Gold. Mmmmmm yummy. I do not mind the length of the vids, because I love to see what your doing and being entertained. Lol..... what makes it hard to deal with are the ads. I timed them.... every 4 minutes. Ugh.... dang. Well, we just have to deal. Love your art. Happy Anniversary lol. Hugs

    I can’t believe how rude some people are. If they don’t like your style they should clear off and find some other teacher. You probably won’t even see my comment but I felt I had to say it anyway because It irritated me when I read some of the comments which were critical of you . I’ve always kept quiet throughout my life because I hate confrontation but, due to the menopause I say what I think😂. Keep doing what your doing you are a wonderful teacher. Your work is outstanding and I am always in awe of the amazing artist that you are. I have learned so much arching your tutorials. Love from England. Ps I’ve just started HRT😂😂😂😂😂

    I usually don’t like florals but, oddly, I’m drawn to that transfer. I picked up a piece, very similar to the one you’re doing, for $20. I put it into the basement because I had no idea what I wanted to do with it. It’s got a really unique round dovetail for the drawers so, I want to give it the best life....it’s currently black with a translucent fruit motif...like an old rocking chair. I’m torn between this and the blended dropcloth, French linen and serendipity blue one with the cherry blossom IODs. Either way, it’s gonna be beautiful! Thank you for sharing your craft...💞
    The laundry! 🤣🤣🤣 My daughter just dropped off a ton of old sheets, towels, t-shirts and land of the lost socks...I’m blessed 😂
    This question may be mute (I’m too lazy to check your newer videos 🙃) but, is there a possibility to list the products used in the description box? Your pieces are always prepped in advance...it would be nice to know what you used for your base, as well as your colors.
    UGH! Another video with no part 2? Why do you not show your finished projects? 😔

    I have a random question. On the sides with the wallpaper, did you seal the paper before starting to paint it? I thought about it when you were spraying the water on it. Would the paint and water spray activate the paste under the paper? Thank you! Happy anniversary!

    I've tried painting over drawers without removing them and I kept getting paint between the drawers , like the drawer needed to be pulled out to get the excess brushed in. How do you paint directly over all the drawers and not have that problem?

    • @BrushedbyBrandy
      @BrushedbyBrandy  2 роки тому +1

      I pull them out after blending and clear around all the edges before it dries

    Can I suggest that you shrink your videos a bit and only disgust the process and the art? The jokes and personal comments are annoying for those that watch your videos to learn.
