He is such a wonderful person. I remember to have first met him as SDPO of udalguri (Assam)in the year 1992 -93. At that time I was an SSB officer. He is so sober ,soft spoken with awesome personality. I still cherish that wonderful moment I shared with him. He is still maintaining his persona as it was . My huge regards to him
I've seen that most IPS officer are adamantly rude and shows inhumane manner to common people,, But this DGP is an inspiration to the the youger generation of how to be humble, Highly qualified DGP,, Salute sir🙏

All the IPS and IAS officers are polite and humble
for me it is Shri Rubin Sharma IPS (DGP prison Nagaland).
Wait till you hear about the Tamil Nadu DGP Dr. C. Sylendra Babu. He's a real life hero, who recently jumped into action immediately on seeing a teen drowning in Marina beach and he himself resuscitated him and saved his life.
There are many good hearted IAS and IPS officers in India, but it's quite difficult to micro-manage every subordinate to work efficiently or to spot the bad apples which ruin the system. It's even harder when politicians start playing various caste games, and also when we have a general public which easily falls for those games and resist positive changes.

Meghalaya is so lucky to have such a wonderful and polite DGP. He's a true example of the Indian Police Service.

Good to see Dr. L R Bishnoi being the DGP of meghalaya. i first saw him when he was visiting our school as the IGP of upper assam and i was in class 3, this year i completed my graduation and seeing him becoming a DGP really feels good

Very nice gesture, Police Officer of All rank , DSP, SP , DIG etc should do such social integration in their area atleast once a year. Social policing will help a lot to eradicate crime. Many states and officer are already doing it , rest should follow. This is kind of proactive way to pulling down crimes.

I grew up in Shillong ( I don't live any longer there), but I think Dr. Bishnoi is one of the most humble and down friendly DGPs we have had in these many years. Just randomly came across this video and am loving this. What most politicians and leaders should do (drug awareness drive), this man is doing. When he says don't smoke and drink to that young man, that speaks a lot about his character (perhaps he himself does not smoke and drink). Thanks for this video Veem Tales! Meghalaya is privileged to have DGP like him.
