So much great stuff! The content aware is promising but the fix for the color cast was brilliant!
Thanks
Thanks Colin, I found the tips on the new Beta fill quite Helpful. I'll download Photoshop Beta and let you know how I go.
Hopefully it’s a bit better functioning tool by the time of release, but it will be helpful, but only if we have another shot at the subject with the missing area. I really appreciate the heads-up on the beta.
What a great feature!!! Thanks for showing it to us, and showing how to get it.
,,,will get on the Beta because this is the one place where Adobe listens! There are so many new photo editing programs appearing with masking features I wish Photoshop would implement and save me from buying ANOTHER plugin!!
It’s a superb feature that is very welcome. Will save a lot of time for sure. I hope this feature gets a full release sometime soon as it’s perfect for fixing things quickly and quite efficiently from what I saw here.
I’d be interested to know what the other new features are in the beta, maybe in another video?
Your subscriber numbers & views do not do justice to your abilities in showing the features, explaining the features & providing it all at the very affordable price of free on youtube so to every person who watches these videos hit the bloody like button so that youtube can reward Colin for all his time & effort
Thank you Colin
btw: do you know when the neural filter to repair old & damaged images is being released
Awesome tutorial, thank you very much.
I’ve been wanting this for years now!
This looks very interesting - this is the reason I still use photoshop compared to cheaper alternatives.... they lead others follow
A potentially great application. Could be a huge timesaver. Like many I'd have to do this manually borrowing my fix patch from another image. I hope Adobe continue to develop this idea 👍
Thanks! Will give the beta a try!
Looks promising. The new content aware is unbelievable and i feel sure the Beta features will be amazing, but i will just wait until they refine them into PS per se. Thanks for the video.
When installing the Beta be aware your brushes, actions and plugins will not transfer over, nor will your workplace settings - you have to set up everything again, especially your preferences.
you are correct. Also, remember not to relay on beta software for production work.
Great demonstration of the new Beta feature. Is this only available for the cloud version of Adobe PS and not the Classic version? I couldn’t find it.
Classic version?
Thanks again. Always helpful.
Thank you for the video
It really save time using that new function
Also tells us what is the drawback or problem or loss if using beta version of Photoshop what is the drawback or problem will be instead of normal version
Smashing info throughout and thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us!
Very interesting! I see where this could save some time.
Could? It will lol
Good stuff, Colin! Thanks!
Very exciting development. thanks
I'm probably going to use this extensively in family shots, possibly not in the way that it was intended :)
Helpful tips thanks!
Great video as always, I've learned a lot from you over the years...thank you. The only problem I have is that now Lightroom points to the beta version of PS instead of the full version where I have all the plugins and workspace choices, etc. Is there a way to make Lightroom to point back to the full version of PS? Thanks
Thanks, worth looking into
Many thanks
Looking for forward for this to be implemented in Lightroom;'
I’ll let you experts work out the kinks and look forward to the finished version🤪
Hi I used this feature in the past and it worked great (thank you for your video). I updated to a new beta version 25.7, I still see the Additional Document menu in the Content Aware Fill window, but this menu is grayed. Any clue I could check ? Thank you so much )'(
useful, will try it out
I have Adobe Photoshop 2023 version 24.2.0 released in February 2023, but I can't find the additional document option for Multi image Content Aware Fill. Not sure if it's still in beta only.
So on the import part,Do i need to import the same images or different images with almost the same objects?yes?
Great instruction
Which version of beta are you working on?
Thanks
Because I can't afford to install to same softwares in my PC it's not possible for me my space is not doing that so if beta version has not any problematick think then I will delete normal version and use beta version or what should I do I can't install 2 Photoshop advance
Anyone remember the amazing unreleased feature in CS6 (I know... 2012 iirc) that unblurred/deblurred images? Did anything ever come of that?
I noticed that they just released a new update to PS to 23.5. I wonder if it's in there.
No, its not, still in beta
So do you think this will work and make life easier on photos with easy to moderately complicated large group family photos to swap out heads when toddlers are facing the wrong way or peoples eyes are closed or bad facial expression on just 1 person but the rest of the photo is perfect.
Try it and find out. Let us know your findings here
7 months later, and it's still not in the stable version. Did they decide to drop it?
The only Photoshop beta I see on my Creative Cloud account is web-based. I thought this was a desktop app as indicated in your screen shot. Any thoughts?
I don't know why you aren't seeing a beta, Im sorry.
@@photoshopcafe I must have been looking in the wrong place -- I found it and downloaded it. Thanks!!
I can attest they listen. There is a feature in Bridge that was my idea.
Congrats!
I'm waiting for all the rivals to crack this as well, hopefully all applications will have this feature eventually
You are a genius teacher
Can you use more than one additional image?
no, only 1 at a time
because of lazy MF's like you many experts are gonna lose their job and career.
Another good one Colin!!
thanks
My Creative Cloud does not have link for Beta Apps or Prerelease. Why?
Contact adobe support.
so, you need a good shot to improve a bad one 🙃 but if I've got a good shot, I just delete the bad one 😆 or mask smth out manually if needed
But the obscured shot is the better shot ;) The clearest shot isn't the best, the one with the best composition and moment is. Get it?
A bit pointless when you already have the photo that you want (the imported one). I find most of these features that Adobe have been adding in over the years of limited use. That's because they nailed the basic program ages ago.
Cool! :)
What images was he importing?
Other photos I had taken
Luv!
Great, but sincerely I will retake the photo or just move to something else. That is when photography became fake, like changing the sky or a full background. This fixture is to be used only on extreme need.
when i started as a Photoshop-Trainer in 1999, we did not have any AI-Tools. We had to be creative for 10 minutes to remove something. Now i have to be creative for 15 minutes to fix, what AI did wrong!☝️😅
Good
you seem to always have to have an image of the same subject available from somewhere!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I always shoot multiple shots of everything. Thats how this feature works.
Beeta, not Bata lol
OMG, I hate when people say beeta, Glad I don't have to listen to you say it lol
@@photoshopcafe Must be a UK/US thing. The British say Beeta, so we hate it when we hear it pronounced as Bata lol.
@@pr4photos LIke Scone skon lol
@@photoshopcafe ha, yes definitely another one that differs opinions
Beta is not promising at all. You already said it in your video more than twice that it doesn't do great what it does. I also I'd advice peolpe to refrain from reports because you get your system not working properly, Beta seems to remove your install, they don't pay any attention whatsoever to the help-feedback you try to offer. Thanks
It does not remove your install
