- Me going independent was probably the hardest decision I had to make but inevitable to show my true potential. I haven't felt this confident for a long time and this new approach definitely could redefine professional kiteboarding.

Thanks and I really think the contrary is true, being signed can affect your performance. But for most unsponsored riding won't be an option to sustain riding at the top.

The sport has changed that much over the last 2 years that having the gear that suits you best is what makes the difference. There is a reason Duotone was winning almost every significant competition.
Is it fair? No it's not but at the top you sometimes have to make hard choices to get there and consolidate.

No it will always be a combination depending on conditions and rider. The DLAB isn't the easiest kite to get every drop of performance out of it but it skilled hands it will shine. The Harlem will outperform everything else in the doubles and probably in the high end.
