This isn't the time for him to sit out fights
Tunde Ajayi is to blame for this move. Anthony Yarde hasn't done anything at all in boxing to be acting this way. What do they deserve? His last fight was a 10 rounder against a bin man on an undercard. How can he demand anything? He's lost every signature fight he has had no matter if he's 'done well' in those fights. Two of his three losses have been by knockout. He hasn't even won a British or Commonwealth championship yet he's demanding 5m.
Yarde needs to find an American promoter like Connor Ben and fight his way into contention again from across the pond!
Unfortunately Yarde and Tunde need to agree to part ways for the sake of Yarde career. Doesn’t mean any love/loyalty is lost and they can always run it back once he is established with the Saudi’s giving them exciting fights but for now they should part ways because it looks like all of these promoters are working together for Riyadh season.
From what I’m hearing, the only way back into the game is to let go of Tunde. Tunde has put a lot of work into Yarde’s career, having been with him from the beginning, so it’s understandable that Yarde might be hesitant to leave him. However, this change is for the better, not just for his career, but also to potentially earn crazy money that could secure the future for generations in his lineage. The Saudis are not wasting any time and are not playing any games. Now is not the time to sit on the sidelines, especially as a light heavyweight.

The comments that you have received below are typical of what Yarde has had to put up with. His face doesn't fit and the 'experts', like the ones who have commented below, seem at their happiest when they are trying to create a narrative of his unworthy trainer and a loser. On the other hand, we all see AJ, who has lost a few big fights over the past 5 years, but these same experts seem to think he is still the best thing since sliced bread.. If Yarde does join another promoter he stands to get away from the toxic audience that he has had to endure over the past few years, and he also gets the opportunity to change his trainer if he decides he wants to. Ajayi has highly likely created a lack of an agreement with Warren, but he also stands to lose if his boxer of the past 12 years decides to leave him in the process..
